I’ve been looking for something to use with my HT while at an indoor walking track at the community gym during the winter to not draw so much attention. This will be a great way to chat on simplex or repeaters or to my digital voice hotspot. Debating between one of these with the microphone in the PTT or a PTT without a microphone that relies on a microphone in the earbuds.

Why don't you use a voice activated, boom mic. Anyone & everyone today uses some bluetooth boom mic / ear bud device, for their tellenphone!
