I've met Nikhil Handa in January 2018 in Delhi Cant area, we had a coffee together at a shop nearby. I was on my way to home after a night shift and we did spoke for almost 30 mins about our respective line of work. It's amazing how you sometime meet the people and never know how evil they can be. Nikhil Handa ka sirf beta nahi, ek beti bhi thi. This man crossed me the same day he murdered this lady in army hospital. I was hospitalized there along with his son in the same room. He had 2 kids. He had such a beautiful wife and beautiful kids. Don't know why he destroyed his family.
How can a military personnel be so cruel! If the woman thought him as a simple friend then why she didn't tell him to come at home in the presence of her husband! I still didn't understand what sort of friendship she wanted in the absence of her husband & via secret long calls! She was also equally responsible for her end. If she didn't receive those calls, then maximum he would go to her home, she could at least complain to her husband & he would be instantly punished in either civilian way or millitary way. The way he showed madness towards the woman he should have shown the same madness towards his patriotism & duty. The woman shouldn't have met him outside the hospital. At least she could tell him to say whatever he wanted to say in a public place. If there was nothing between them then why she agreed to sit in his car for private chat! To be honest, though her killer had millitary background the way he planned the murder, tried to clean proof, watched videos related to murder & proof destroy, trapped girls using another phone & FB account, it's proved he is a far smarter criminal than anyone else. Thank God he's in prison otherwise his psychotic obsession would make him kill other innocents if he was left free in military. That's why women should be careful about whom she meets & make friends with especially with opposite gender. She would be alive today if she understood his evil intentions earlier.

How can a military personnel be so cruel! If the woman thought him as a simple friend then why she didn't tell him to come at home in the presence of her husband! I still didn't understand what sort of friendship she wanted in the absence of her husband & via secret long calls! She was also equally responsible for her end. If she didn't receive those calls, then maximum he would go to her home, she could at least complain to her husband & he would be instantly punished in either civilian way or millitary way. The way he showed madness towards the woman he should have shown the same madness towards his patriotism & duty. The woman shouldn't have met him outside the hospital. At least she could tell him to say whatever he wanted to say in a public place. If there was nothing between them then why she agreed to sit in his car for private chat! To be honest, though her killer had millitary background the way he planned the murder, tried to clean proof, watched videos related to murder & proof destroy, trapped girls using another phone & FB account, it's proved he is a far smarter criminal than anyone else. Thank God he's in prison otherwise his psychotic obsession would make him kill other innocents if he was left free in military. That's why women should be careful about whom she meets & make friends with especially with opposite gender. She would be alive today if she understood his evil intentions earlier.

No one can question on you untill you get married ; but after this, you have to set your own limits that you have already committed with someone so how can you cheat that person? Yes, if you want then you can separate your own way by divorce but you can't cheat on someone to whom you are committed with... It's totally illegal in society and also according to law...!!!

A man and a attractive woman can NO be friends ,they can be husband and wife,lover or in relationship- further It is not necessarily mutual,it can be one way feeling that makes such one way relation dangerous for the one not involved. It is very tragic for Shailaja and major husband, but such examples are in plenty especially in Army airforce navy settings where they socialise with each other, drinks are involved,and most of the ladies are more westernised than carry indian values and dress provocatively also.Such one way or two way affairs are quite frequent. I feel that it happens partly due to departure from Indian cultural values ,man possessed by a woman becomes desperate and desperate means dangerous.Major Handa lost his wisdom,was mad after someones wife ,picked up sexual steam from casual interaction at 1 on 1 level.
I agree it happens a lot in the armed forces but it doesn't happen because women are like the way you describes. It happens because men stay away from their families and they think it's a ticket to having fun. Men in the army also have this strange idea of masculinity that makes them feel women are attracted to men in uniform who fight. Men in the army need to maintain their dignity and self control in their personal life like they do in professional life.
