Excellent video and got me to subscribe. Wondering why there wasn't a comparison of the two while on the closest to exact magnification settings. For instance, the 320 at 4.5 power seemed to have less field of view than the 520 at 5 power. Of course it could just be my old eyes.
Thanks for subscribing Kenneth. Hmm I'd say the 3-12 has a wider FOV throughout the similar magnification stages than the 5-20, but as soon as I can get my hands back on the ZHD312R I'll record a quick daylight comparison with them at 4.5x / 5x, 7.5x / 7.5x, 10.5x / 10x and 12x / 12.5x. Hi there, it sounds like you maybe have original firmware installed... whereas a fairly early update includes 'auto-centre when zoomed'. Also if the reticle is too high (i.e. not fairly central with a low Y value) when on base mag', you would benefit from a mount with less MOA. Basically too much MOA (inc' whatever MOA might be built into your rifle action/rail) means your zeroed + will be high. So if yours is 35MOA you would probably be better using a 20MOA mount (or if 20 already you might be better with a 0MOA mount). Hope this helps, and thanks for watching, cheers. Russ
