ATR is for single stranded DNA damage.... And in case of Double stranded DNA damage ATM is responsible ...

Nice way of teaching. What would happen if p21 interacts with STAT3 or MYC protein? Can this lead to cause any affect on DNA damage repair?

Thank you for your video, it was easy to understand! Would you please do a video on the problem of “induced gene mutations” in the KIT gene? I have serious health problems because of this and not sure what substance was able to cause the mutation and what also damaged my body’s dna repair mechanisms. My body can’t seem to fix this problem and I didn’t always have this. Just trying to understand what happened and you seem like just the person to figure it out🙂

I dont know much about it but i will give it a try.

Bless you for trying! I have a condition called “mast cell activation syndrome” which I read is caused by a induced mutation in the KIT gene. I’ve tried to find out what I was exposed to that caused this and why the dna repair and flagging mechanisms seem to be broken and unable to fix it. There’s got to be a answer to reversing it. If you are able to figure it out you will help a lot of suffering people!

What if p53 is ovee amplified that results in more tumour?

    • @animatedbiologywitharpan

P53 over expression would not lead to cancer but it can interfere with growth

Sir, I don't know whether I am correct or not but I recently studied role of p53 in cell cycle regulation there is ATM instead of ATK and CHK 2 instead of CHK 1. I am a bit confused in between this please help me out.
