Citrate Toxicity in Dogs

This video is about citrate toxicity in canine patients. I will also demonstrate a tool that may help veterinarians and veterinary technicians (especially, those who are interested in veterinary emergency and critical care medicine) to decide on whether a blood product with a high citrate-to-blood ratio should be discarded or safely given to a prospective recipient. This video will be helpful to all veterinary professionals who either participate in blood donation or use blood products to treat animals.
