All these training plans require a runner to run 5, 6 days a week but as one gets older, one needs more rest! Quality over quantity! You are right Kelly, a day off is no harm and also xtraining keeps u motivated!
Loving your vibe at the moment and all exciting things coming up. Good luck with Wokingham. I'm 2 months into 4 month marathon block, my first for London. Loving it!! Keep up the excellent vlogs 👏
Thank you Brian! Glad you are here and enjoying it ☺️ love to hear you are loving the marathon training, keep up the good work! London will be AMAZING!
@@KellogsOnTheRun 🤣🤣🤣 it’s so easy to do!!!! You start running, look down and see 7:45 pace and think ‘this feels so easy’ but you have to hold back. Push at mile 10 if you feel good 😊👍
Wow looks like the training is going well now, but 6 more weeks of work you'll be on fire by Newport! Good luck for Wokingham Half, remember it's part of the marathon process... but yeah a PB would be nice! 😄🏃♀🏅
As a fellow T1D training for a marathon, I felt your pain on that missed run. As you said, sometimes you have to accept you’re diabetic and there’s nothing you can do about it.
CiRF is ok, it’s broken down so not too bad! I’m in the process of it now. Very much a continuation of LiRf geared more towards in person coaching. Having completed UESCA, that’s a great comprehensive course. Lots but you have the time to go at your own pace.

Fingers crossed for a PB!! You have totally got that in you. Don’t go off to fast, stick to the pace, push at the end. YOU CAN DO IT!! 💪💪💪
Thank you! I’m going to try my best 🔥 definitely need to avoid the going off too fast. Matt is already repeating it in my ear every hour… 😂😂

Good luck for Wokingham! The first km is all uphill so make sure you're well warmed up before 👍
Thank you! No skipping the warm up on this one, thanks for the heads up! ☺️

Enjoy Wokingham Half Marathon. After the first 1km it’s a pretty decent route for a PB. Good luck
Thanks Ian! Prepare for the hill start, sounds bit like Brighton 🔥
How did you find the Cirf course ?I'm looking into doing if looks a tough slog

3:47 did Matt just speak swahili? Pole Pole, = slowly, right? Is that picked up from Iten?
