a a I wish more people would realize how much of a backhanded compliment it is to tell makeup wearers that they look better without makeup. Most women, and men, wear it because they love the process of creating and wearing a makeup look. Some do wear makeup because they have insecurities, and wearing it gives them the extra confidence that they don’t yet have. And telling them that they look better without it makes it sound like makeup looks bad on them.
Hello Zabrena, I have hooded eyes. Here's my dilemma. My lid sags worse on my inner corner of my eye than the outer corner. I have trouble with how to apply eye shadow. Should I leave it blank put a dark shade. Please I need advice😭

The women who did their part while the men fought in WWII, they had to take over the jobs that the men were doing, they were making the bullets, bombs, the planes and had to EVERYTHING to keep the country going. They had to ration what they could buy for clothing, what they ate, everything that the soldiers and the war effort needed as well. On top of that the women who worked in the factories had to wear Safe and practical clothing, these women had to wear their fathers', brothers', husbands', male neighbors' clothing. Most of these women had NEVER worn pants before, and there they were forced into what had always been "masculine" jobs and clothing, and they did it for their country, for EVERY man they knew that was fighting in this war or died to protect them at home. By the war was over and the men had come home, these Women were Excited to feel Beautiful, sexy and Feminine again. These women wanted to get married or they were seeing their husband that haven't seen since they were deployed right after they got married! These couples wanted to have a family, the veterans wanted to forget what happened during the war, PTSD wasn't out there like it is now, you didn't talk about those kind of things back then. The 1950s were ALL about a happy family with a nice new home in these suburban neighborhoods and cul-de-sacs, teenagers were seen as a group of their own. It was escapism from the horrors of war, plus the propaganda in films and tv shows of these Super Feminine women and perfect little families. And We play into the looks that get the attention we want from the ones we are attracted to. My husband prefers when I do "No makeup" makeup or looks like this one and others from the mid 1900s (sounds so weird having to say it like that now, I grew up through the 1990s. I actually started school in 1990.) the makeup from this decade insinuates your natural beauty, AKA No makeup makeup, or a little more Va-Va-Voom like Zabrina is here. These type looks you want more neutral colors but colors that work with you skin color and undertones, I forget the old rule with red lipstick, you had to choose a red with the correct undertone for your undertone. Black is a shade which is absent of all colour. White is also a shade and is the inclusion of all colour. If you want to deepen a colour us black. If you want to lighten a colour use white. I am an artist so have studied the colour theory wheel a lot. LOL It is so helpful when choosing an eye look. LMAO You are stunning woman! Love these videos. Regarding that white liner and whether white is a color... White is all the colors combined. I know sounds wrong but color is determined by light and white light is all the colors of the spectrum of the rainbow combined into one. When you separate white light with a prism you get a rainbow showing you all the colors that were hidden within the white light. Black is the total absence of color. Inky minky and nikkia joy lashes are the only ones I can wear on my sensitive eyes. I've tried House of lashes, lilly lashes, velour and so many others but for me your lash line is the best for my eyes. Can't wait to buy these new ones!!
Watching late at night. But because I just can’t for the life of me get to sleep, I am watching this . It’s beautiful . I cannot use white eyeliner, it’s very “ cold “ , and stark against my pale skin. Since I am a porcelain bisque, it looks a little artificial. I use a peach/beige pencil. Brightens up really nice. Would you ever consider doing a series of looks that work well for people who wear glasses? I'm always so sad when I put so much effort into a look and then I put my glasses on and you can't see the work or my lashes bump into my lenses. Sending you and your family my best xo
Regarding that white liner and whether white is a color... White is all the colors combined. I know sounds wrong but color is determined by light and white light is all the colors of the spectrum of the rainbow combined into one. When you separate white light with a prism you get a rainbow showing you all the colors that were hidden within the white light.
Black is the total absence of color. This science moment brought to you by the nerdy lady in Virginia.

I want to use that beautifully matte foundation so badly, but the shade range is pathetic. The darkest shade isn’t even close to mine. It felt lovely in the store though :(

Inky minky and nikkia joy lashes are the only ones I can wear on my sensitive eyes. I've tried House of lashes, lilly lashes, velour and so many others but for me your lash line is the best for my eyes. Can't wait to buy these new ones!!

Watching late at night. But because I just can’t for the life of me get to sleep, I am watching this . It’s beautiful . I cannot use white eyeliner, it’s very “ cold “ , and stark against my pale skin. Since I am a porcelain bisque, it looks a little artificial. I use a peach/beige pencil. Brightens up really nice.

Might me off topic but i whoheartedly agree that you can wear 'glam' makeup at any time of the day or the week! I love makeup and i didn't buy all these beautiful eyeshadows and lipsticks to just wear them once every few weeks 😅 imma get my money's worth
