I know that something is worth what you're willing to pay. Doesn't matter what it is. Just like one man's trash is another man's treasure. I'm a huge bargain shopper, but when it comes to certain items, paying a bit more for something that is quality is usually better to do! Thanks Billy!
Thank God he gave us free will.... eat what you want and can afford, carry what you want and can afford. Opinions are like noses... Everyone has one and we should be civil enough to respect that. Just my 2 cents.
Jay Leno digs cars, and can afford them, so he's earned the right to collect millions of dollars on what interests him. Some ladies I know won't blink at dropping $3K on Luis Vuitton purses. It's all about relative perspective and interests.✌️
I collect knives and it bothers me. I hate being a consumer of anything. I try to keep my life simple and not have a bunch of items. I prefer to have a small amount of good items than a ton of mediocre garbage. i just feel guilty vlowing my money when i have a family to provide for. I always wondered how some collectors can have tens of thousands dollars woth of something while having a family. Shouldnt that money be saved for a rainy day? Thats the battle i have whenever i want to buy something.
@@Doug-do7ge yes sir , excellent points. I've had a rainy days in which I was able to sell knives or other things that I've collected. For me I kind of look at it like it's a savings account that I can enjoy until I need to cash it out. I've had a few knives that I've bought for 400 and by the time I sold them they fetched 1000 in auction on ebay etc. I'm no fool though...there's a certain amount of money that one needs to spend on the right knife in order to make that return. Walmart knives aren't going to do that ...90% of the time. Of course theirs always outliers to every scenario.
Those knives are well worth the money. I love a good steak, but $300 for something that will literally go to shit in 24 hours. Whatever rocks your boat.
Just learned today that people spend $700 on eBay for a sealed original condition astronaut Snoopy plushy toy from the 70's... make of that what you will 🐶
Everyone has their thing they will spend money on and there’s always someone who will think it’s stupid. Love what you buy and buy what you love. Or what my buddy always says cheap shit ain’t cool and cool shit ain’t cheap.
True facts 💯
Great points. We all have that thing we are willing to spend money on
@@ScotchNThings yes sir !
Bottom line - make yourself happy. If that means spending way less & feeling like you got a bargain or buying what you feel is the best.

And i can’t fathom spending 300 on a steak. That knife will last me years.
@@loosieclocker yeah ...me neither. I'll live vicariously through someone else's taste buds lol 😆
Only halfway through but if you want it bad enough, you will buy it. Cost - is either a small or BIG concern.
