In this video we show you our visit to the Mutrah Souq in Muscat, Oman. The Mutrah Souq is the largest and oldest market in Oman. It has existed for more than 200 years. Here, countless traders offer their diverse goods in small shops. In addition to clothing, fabrics and shoes, you will not only find many handicraft items here, but also fragrant spices, teas and, of course, the incense typical of Oman. If you want to haggle and buy something here, you can do so without hesitation. The Mutrah Souq is a safe market whose time-honoured façade also conceals modern technology. You can not only pay for your purchases in cash, but also with all major credit cards. A visit to the bustling market, which is very easy to reach on foot from the harbour exit, is definitely not to be missed.
