I went the cheap route and as a Kiwi I have to say the Aussies were the key in my case. I bought a new petrol trimmer and blower but for the mower I went with old Rovers. This was a while back so there were still parts available but still nobody here wanted to work on them. It happens that I was able to, and that obviously isn't doable for everyone. That was good for me tho because within that $2000 budget the commercial mower was only $300. And those mowers are capable. So I would add that for those mechanicly inclined a second hand older commercial mower is also an option. But be aware if you stay with them they might cost more in the long run if you have to keep repairing (I now own 4 or 5 Rover's worth of parts so I'm set for a while) but that does mean you can get in on the lawns within that $2000 without residential gear.
Side note, if you are able and ready to repair your own gear that is a massive advantage over those that can't. Less time running to the mower shop instead of working.
I agree, the ability to repair gear opens up a lot more opportunities.
A lot of good info here, great video.
Great video. Thanks for sharing. From Dallas Texas
Great video.
I'm just starting out myself running the ego tools
Have the
52cm self propelled mower
38cm line trimmer with power load
900m³ blower
2 x 7.5 ah batteries
1x 2.5 ah battery
2 x rapid charger
1 standard charger
Looking to get a hedgetrimmer.
And the power + multi tool 7pce attachment kit with the upgraded power head. That included 25cm Pole Saw Attachment, 51cm Hedge Trimmer Attachment, 40cm POWERLOAD™ Line Trimmer Attachment, 30cm Brushcutter Attachment, 20cm Edger Attachment, Rotocut Attachment and Pole Extension.
I have no desire to go to petrol. Any other advice on what I should get.
Whats your budget?
Lol im Starting with an X-Trail
G’day Luke, great vid 👍. How have you found the standers in WA conditions ( cut height, wheel ruts etc)? I run a round in Bunbury consisting of residential, strata and commercial properties. Hope to hear from you keep up the great work always a great listen🤙
Hoc on the Super S can be adjusted, but if you want to cut lower than 25mm then you will need to go with the Walker
You should get a KFC affiliation😂
Anthony was right. The intro has thrown me too. *Unsubscribe*
