Met a group from Doncaster yesterday in the Garter in Newcastle who showed me this , we had a good old beautiful south sing song . If any of you’s see this get in touch !
Link records sent me this for my zine. Loved it. We played that record out in New Jersey. Had ska scene revival for a few years too. I hope I saved it, all were water damaged, haha. Awesome memories inspired by our brothers across the pond.
I’m not gay or nothing but mick was a good looking fella, a cool guy and he ended up on heroin and he looks awful now and he must only be in his 40’s he was talented... tragic shame really I hope he’s off it and comes back to what he done best ska with these lads
He’s 56 now.. he was my best mate as kids and used to live on a caravan site in arksey Doncaster… always was ska and as kids both dressed as skins.. don’t see him now but he’s not doing drugs anymore and hope we cross paths again one day.
Ah, memories of old. I took quite a few of these photos (I even made it onto the one at 40s point). God knows what I've done with the negatives

Love this band, great example that not all skinhead music has to sound tough!
