The children looked like the really enjoyed spending the day with you and watching the process. I'm sure it made the time go more quickly for the little girl getting styled.
The parents need to be taught how to care for themselves and then they will be able to care for their children. Our girls need to have hair! You did an amazing job on that little girl. Powerful message! Thank you beautiful! She’s so cute!
I could watch you care for the children for hours! You voice is soothing and the children are so curious and fun. I love how they break into song spontaneously.
I've always wondered why the school kids had shaved heads. Thanks for sharing this information and for helping others in your village. The children are beautiful.
That makes me sad that they are forced to shave their daughters hair. Knowing that hair is considered a beauty feature of women it puts them at a disadvantage. God bless all of them. 4C hair automatically makes most others look down on you compared to every other type of female in the world it’s really not fair 😢 🙏🏿
Facts! Long hair was a beauty standard in ancient africa and was a sign of spirituality. When europeans showed up, they told them their was ugly and yall know the rest.
You never know someone’s story but just being open minded is a blessing, you’re a blessing to your village and them unto you, many blessings💫 I would love to visit your country soon 🌬️💫🫶🏾🤍💜💚
what a delightful video full of joy, songs, and empowering babies to love every little part of themselves. i love it!! beautiful children in your villge 🥰🫶🏾
Black women should wear their natural hair instead of all the chemicals and hair accessories that damage the hair and scalp. Be proud of your natural hair.
I grew up in South Africa and also had short hair as a little girl 🥰You can run wild and be free; have fun and not worry about hair maintenance! Plus it looks cute. Even for adults, I think short hair looks very flattering on African women and their facial features. Think Lupita Nyongo! 🥰
Angella, I love some of the videos that you post about the children and how they have a lifestyle within their village. Coming from a family that’s also from Africa (west africa) my dad had told me stories about what routines school children had in Africa, and it makes me wish that I could live that same lifestyle as of now as a minor. And yes you are right about toxic beauty standards, I believe that what is taught mostly outside of our culture make young girls feel bad about their own appearance because they think they aren’t beautiful enough, I admire my own African culture and how they enforce moral boundaries among school children ❤
Thanks for all the explanation, Angella. It is lovely to see the children enjoying. And that girl is really patient! 🙂I also use castor and rosemary oil for my hear.
I always say if hair was a gift to protect our heads minds n spirits then with an afro or afro hair, we rlly have been afforded one of the highest forms of protection. It’s thick and dense and beyond protective of our skull. We blessed, but they rather have us stressed 😂❤
I can understand how taking time to do hair with all the things that go with village life would be difficult if not impossible. It's easy to forget how much free time we have in the west. Please make sure these kids grow knowing there's nothing less about their bodies, their abilities, or the worth of their lives. And that if they grow up and work hard, perhaps they can start a new tradition. A tradition of their girls embracing their hair and keeping it neat 🥰
On a similar post about this, a South African Black woman pointed out that the schools did not require Colored or Whites to shave their hair off. Only Blacks (with coily/kinky hair).
Helllooo angellla💞 just want to tell you that you are doing a great job 👏 i am your subscriber from India and i have deep attachment with africans❤. Take care keep it up🎉
thank you so much for sharing, this not only educated me, it made me smile😊those kids being so carefree is beautiful i have wondered about why many children have short hair, in documentaries and things like that i've seen. it's so much better seeing it explained by you ❤
You've did a great job on her hair & it wasn't even too tight for a lil massage. It's so beautiful w the accessories also & she seemed relaxed during the whole styling time ❤❤
Thank you for this video I believe around the world should embrace and accept the way God made them.- Perfect In His image It's sad to see so many people with curly hair , hate it or feel disgraced by it ,, so they opt out for straight or covered up GOD'S PEACE LOVE LIGHT AND TRUTH TO US ALL 💕 🩸 ✝️ 🕊️ 🦁 🔥 🌹 👑 🦅 🗝️ 📖 🙏🏾
To be fair, it can be very hard to tell the gender of a child, but I have learned not to assume. I know several girls with short hair and many boys with long hair.
Another business idea would be to plant them and sell it. Eventually, opening shops for hair care. I would love to buy the yarn for my daughter’s hair over the fake hair sold by others (I am only guessing that it is yarn)
¡Hola! Ángela. Que hermosa te quedó tu princesa, me encantó ver todo tu amor en acción. Por favor haz más vídeos así. Saludos y... Bendiciones. 🇲🇽🫂🇺🇬🥰😁👍👍 😇🙏🙅🏻♂️😁✌️🎆🍾🎇🥂🌠
I asked why schools in Kenya have girls do this and it was explained that schools did hair was a distraction for girls and something about not being able to keep their hair neat. This made me realize that the ideas about Black hair were heavily informed by colonialism and the lingering culture of educating boys and thinking educating girls was a waste of time. We now educate the girl child, but think things that go along with girls (like hair and periods) are a distraction because they never bother boys. I think schools took it as reason and rules and continued to pass the self hate down without realizing it. But that's just my speculation. However, I think of how girls in South Africa protested their schools saying their natural hair was untidy. So I really think colonialism has a lot to do with it across the continent.
I'm more impressed with you day by day. The way you are a shining beacon of light and love for everyone you come across inspires me constantly. Watching both parent and children be able to light up in your presence, be upgraded by your existence, and share joy with one another in what can be seen as a very trying time is mindblowing. May you be continue to be a guiding light for all of those in need, an amplifier for those with hands to do God's work, and shine your best light upon this world, fore you raise the frequency of this entire planet with your love and light. I appreciate the fact that you exist, its not every day that we get to see Angels like you walking this Earth and lighting up the Universe as you do. 💘💘💘💘
That school law should be stop. The children hair should be cared for by their parents school officals should make sure the children are well cared for head to toe the shave off hsir doesn't look good on everybody. Those kids are beautiful, and the girls' hair grow out like flowers 💐 black is wonderful
Beautiful video. Give thanks for sharing. Keep in mind the dangers of using synthetic hair as hair extensions. It is quite toxic and dangerous. Keep pouring into these children, it's lovely.
I love this video and I love watermelon! It is so refreshing and so good for you. Do y’all eat the seeds too? I heard the seeds are very healthy as well. She loves her braids. She likes to shake them. 😂❤️
THANK YOU , THANK YOU, THANK YOU, As an AFRICAN, removed forcefully from the motherland many many years ago i still FEEL the NATURAL connection. You show this old man that we have HOPE of reclaiming our TRUE selves. We are a BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE, NATURALLLY. thank you, this is a JOYFUYL site to see see in my older age, as it confirms we will RISE! Against all odds. Keep doing what you're doing, YOU are truly the BEAUTY OF AFRICA ! Crying tears of JOY 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿✌🏿✌🏿🤎🤎✊🏿✊🏿
Beautiful and informative program. Cultural and practical reasons given, genetic adaptation plays a part and some hair just doesn’t grow more than an inch or so even despite care and maintenance because it has adapted that way. In countries along the equator, where the climate is relentlessly hot, hair has adapted to be a short, protective tight coil on the head. Body hair may also be sparse or absent. African hair of the tight coiled type was judged inferior by supremacist/colonial propagandists, yet today it is sought after and Korean and Japanese Asia are using complicated perm procedures to achieve that very same Afro texture.
The choice of how someone should wear their hair should be their choice a mí Félix Wild And on Cat Under the keeping it neat but to make someone cut their hair I don't know it doesn't seem right in America people are fighting just to wear their hair natural and not have to straighten it for Corporate America
Thank you for a good video, but I want to correct one thing I face myself. If you have shaved your your head you are not bald, bald is when your hair has falken off.
You are so sweet and beautiful and all of these children are so cute as well! 😍 Unfortunately I'm white. I always loved black people. I love your skin color and hair. 😘
The children looked like the really enjoyed spending the day with you and watching the process. I'm sure it made the time go more quickly for the little girl getting styled.
That little girl whose hair you did is absolutely adorable and well behaved. I love how you are a mother to all children.
The parents need to be taught how to care for themselves and then they will be able to care for their children. Our girls need to have hair! You did an amazing job on that little girl. Powerful message! Thank you beautiful! She’s so cute!

Of all the videos of yours I've seen, I don't think I ever wondered why the kids were bald/ have short hair.
Same here. Never a thought.
I have they don't require it here in america so it is facinating
Aww, these children are so cute!! They are so happy! Thank you for a very nice video!😊
LOVED THIS!!!!! IT'S TRULY EMPOWERING!!!!!! TAKE CARE OF THE BABIES!!!!!
These kids are sooo cute!!! The good vibes I need today!
Bald or not they are beautiful like you! I love their head shape - like skulptures! Just Perfect!
They really are 💕

I agree.🙏👏
To think that Africans used to beautifully style and care for our hair until we were invaded. It is sad.
Agreed

Gmorning Angella! Sending much love and uplifting vibes your way! 💛

The reason the school gave sucks! Educate the children and stop worrying about their hair.
Well done Angela. We should be proud not ashamed of our hair and skin colour. The little girl looked cute with this hair style.🎉👏🙏.❤
Baby girl's hair turned out so beautifully! Very few of us (in America as well) are taught how to properly care for our hair...this is a movement!
Thanks for all the explanation, Angella. It is lovely to see the children enjoying. And that girl is really patient! 🙂I also use castor and rosemary oil for my hear.
8:05 this scalp massage looks heavenly. ❤ i want to feel that feeling. lucky kiddo.

My assumption prior to watching is that it gets really hot and keeping the hair short is easier to manage/maintain.
That and africa is still affected with the european beauty standards after being invaded. So that's another reason. A lot of them hate their hair.
Yup
Omg, I bet they dont tell Arabs to shave their girls heads!!!
Nope
Of course not 😂
On a similar post about this, a South African Black woman pointed out that the schools did not require Colored or Whites to shave their hair off. Only Blacks (with coily/kinky hair).

I love seeing joyous, smiling African children. They may not look rich, but they look happy. That's what counts.

Your Amazing. The sweet babies are a joy ❤sending ❤ from Texas
That is EXACTLY how it should be. We shouldn’t be able to tell the boys and girls apart!
