Heya! To clear up a small mistake, Kung-Fu shoes do come with soles attached to the bottom of your suit. I know as I own multiple of em lol. They are perfectly fine to walk around in outside, as well as just being more comfy and giving a more accurate shape to your Spidey boots.
I would recommend Kung-Fu shoes 100%!

The tip about going 1/2 an inch bigger is invaluable. Material being see through when stretched like the Raimi symbiote or Mile's suit isn't something people wouldn't immediately think about.

Awesome video!!! I ordered my first suit from RPC studios, (Miles Morales), a couple months back and I can't wait to see how it is when it arrives! This video would of can in handy back then lol but I did pretty much what you were saying so I should be good! Nice job in going into detail for each part!!!

@thegingerwallaby3908 No not yet! I emailed them a week ago and they said it's in the print screening process! The end of August will be 12 weeks, which on the site says it takes 8 - 12 weeks to ship so looks like it might take the whole 12 weeks but I'm excited it's almost done

My recommendation is to get the wrist-zippers. I find that the separate gloves end up stretched at the openings, which you can only conceal by having them on before you put the upper part of the suit on, with the sleeves holding the gloves down. If you do this, maybe add a little more space in your arm measurements.
My first suit had the shoes and ankle zippers, mask attached and gloves separate, straight back zipper and the crotch zipper that I never used. I plan on going with most of the recommendations from this video with my next one.
Ive had both wrist zippers and separate gloves. Ive never had them stretch at the openings, but there is a noticeable overlap.
@@anakinmonkey It could be the fabric? I ordered from herostime but I dont remember what fabric I chose.
@@WyattRumore Possibly. My TASM2 suit gloves have been on several photoshoots and convention wears, and still are snug to my arm in all parts. I ordered the super thick lycra with those though.

the mask is from print costume. the shell also from there and yes it has magnetic lenses :)

So you didn’t need to pay for it? Because I was reading a little box above the reviews on print costume and it said that if you say you already have the pattern you need to send it to them after you pay.

Thats from a custom vendor I cant remember since I re bought it from a friend. And for my TASM2 suit my gloves are detachable.

Couple questions about the face shell and magnetic lens: 1. Is it guaranteed to fit? Or could I buy it and it just be way too big or small? 2. Do you get to choose which of the generic ones you get (I want the one you have on your Miles costume) thx
Print costume gives you a generic face shell of the styles they have available. If you want a specific design you'll need another custom vendor. Same with size. Print costume has a one size shell, custom sizing would need to be a custom vendor
@@anakinmonkey is it still guaranteed you get the red lenses if you choose the generic shell and lenses option? i want to buy the miles suit but i don't want to risk getting the black lenses
@@floating_spoon they should choose the right one. Miles = Red, Peter = Black lenses
but add it in the additional comments if you’re concerned

With the order printing file, if I chose I already have it do I need to prove it to them or do I have to spend the $30 to ensure I get the costume

Hey super good video but I had a 3D mask printed under the mask with my Spiderman suit (Raimi), as well as the eyes, which I could then put on the mask with magnets and also remove again. So I had a very close replica of the Raimi suit! I can only recommend.

Hey I'm trying to get the advanced suit from printcostume and I wanted to know, if you get the mask without the attached lenses, but also don't select eye holes, will the mask just have fake lenses printed onto it?
hey! quick question about the detached gloves: i made a custom spider suit (as in my own colors and design, but with the format of a raimi suit) so, since i have a web pattern that goes around the wrist, will they detach the gloves according to the pattern? or, will it separate THROUGH the pattern at a certain point on your wrist?
The raimi suit look at the hands when he shoots web the pattern is unique unlike any other spiderman cause his webs are organic normally the wrists are covered with web shooters
very informative and helpful vid really enjoyed, i have a question about an email that i got sent by print costume. it said that i could order a 7 price suit. i was wondering if you know if the suit would just be like the separated arms and boots of the suit or could they be reattached by zipper?
I have no clue what a 7 peice suit is to be honest. But if you get the pieces sepereated, they wont re attach.

which mask do you usually get? as you said you only have the magnetic lenses on miles i believe and that you don't reccomend attached lenses, is there a third option you didn't mention that you would more commonly choose?
I have magnetic lenses on ALL my suits and shells. I would never get attached lenses. I would recommend getting the detached mask with magnetic lenses and a shell.

Hi great video! Looking to purchase my first spidey suit from print costume, however Im a bit confused on the printing file option. Down in the description it says that “You need to either pay for the pattern fee” or if I already have it, to “send it to them after I make the payment” so my question is, if I put the no I already have it option, do they still make the suit even if I don’t send them the file? Thank you!
so technically.. Ive clicked the “i alresdy have it” and purchased it and they still make it. however after recent updates i’ve learned. Paying for the file gives the money to the artist who designed the print. So they still get money for their work. So i reccomend doing so to endure the artist and print shop all get compensated

I have a question about the printing file. Do I have to get it or no, because I heard from others that you need it so you can have it sent to the sewing person or something like that, but what you said kinda contradicts what i've heard and I'm trying to get my 1st costume before october and need some sort of clarification.
I still don’t understand what benefit there would be to getting detached gloves. Also if I do end up picking that option would it be better to get a forearm zip, I don’t want to end up having an obvious look of having an “extra layer” or something for my gloves if that would be the case
I have the detached gloves for my TASM2 suit and it honestly dosent even look or feel like an extra layer. The benefit is if you want to take the glove off, but dont want wrist zippers. Its all up to preference.
So I'm looking at a Gwen Stacy suit, and they dont have the dethatched mask option. I did select the faceshell option, does that automatically make it detatched? Im lost. 😭😭

Im a little confused on the printing file area. In bottom area in printcostume it says we have to pay the fee and send them the file after payment. It also shows you have it selected in the video as “yes” but idk if tht was just because you werent really ordering it at the time
When i ordered my suit, and suits before. Ive never ordered the file myself. Im unsure if they have updated that process. But from my experience I just order the suits without the file. As they have the file.
If youre ordering a custom suit you would need to send them the file ofc.
Just curious is print costume reliable? Literally had no knowledge of it till today, plus any idea what the delivery like and especially overseas since I'm based in the UK.
i use printcostume all the time so i trust them but i know it’s always gonna be a chance taken on suit sites. i’ve never had a bad experience though

would you say its better to get gloves built into the suit or separate.. I don't intend to do to much physical activity in the suit but i do intend to go out and do photo shoots and stuff like that
depends on your preference. I have suits with both. If you get them attached, i recommend the wrist zippers. it’s nice to have at least somthing to have hands free
