Candling Goose Eggs

Just checking the collected goose eggs to make sure they are viable. Since the eggs were collected approximately every other day, per the laying routine of the goose, the maturity of the eggs is variable. I will check again to ensure the duds are culled! The cats will enjoy.

Everyday I try to accomplish small steps as just maintaining the place is very laborious. But I love it all! Thanks for the words of encouragement!

does it matter if the pointy end is up or down (like when you store chicken eggs for eating?)

I should have mentioned that point (no pun intended), as I automatically load the incubator pointy side up. There are a lot of small things that go along with the process as in the tilting the eggs every so often but since my incubator does that automatically I didn't mention that as well.
