- 26 times world champion George Digweed MBE and his wife Kate were subjected to a terrifying robbery at their home on Sunday.
This is George's first interview about the moment 4 masked men smashed their way into their sitting room, attacked them, bound them and stole property.

A traumatic experience for sure, I hope they catch the bastards and more so I hope George and his wife recover quickly.

This is why we have stand your ground laws in America. Praying for healing I know the experience personally all to well, when it did happen to me the first time I decided to be prepared and just fight, was robbed three years later and the result was 7 people arrested, and yes I did put two of them in the Hospital but now they all will be serving the next 16 years in Prison beside the 15 year old who received 5 years for the older adults we plan on making their stay behind bars 10 extra years after their 16 or at least 10 years of community service. The 4 teenagers now two of which are adults we plan on making sure they will do Community Service for the next 20 years. Should they have good behavior and their sentence is reduced to 5 years.
+ALBassMaster Its a difficult arguement. In the UK we have extremely few gun crimes as we have strict gun licensing laws. If very few people have guns then much less gun crime, in turn you wont need guns to defend your homes, at least thats how we view it. However due to how many guns there are in america it would be difficult to remove them all and then issue licences so yeah, difficult one really.

I had my shooting equipment taken from me in 2007 by scum, even took my firearm & shotgun licences , I've never got over that day, every time I pick a gun up, it just eats into my head. Keep strong buh. Rob & Dawn.

This is just awful. Our George is THE best sportsman in the world and this happens. All the best to you all and I hope the Police catch who is responsible and the book gets thrown at them. (Had this have been Beckham or Button , no disrespect, it would have been plastered over the news media, because it's George and shooting it's not). I'm so sorry God bless you I've bin shooting my whole life and I have bin jumped and robed 2 times I am country as the get and have a huge heart I was diagnosed with leukemia two years ago and because of hard times I've had to sell almost all of my guns before that years ago I gave a person a place to stay and a roof over his head and he wound up stealing the most important guns I've ever had in my life which is the ones that my mother bought me I have watched your shooting and you are truly amazing you are very gifted and talented I wish I had the opportunity to do what you do you are very humble by the way you talked about the incident and there's a special place in hell for people who would do that to someone who has earned and fought their way to the top like you thank you very much God bless my name is Timothy Cooper I live on the eastern shore of Maryland.

Joe Randella That's the thing though it doesn't even have to be as extreme as that. Chances are in this particular situation he would have been screwed anyway but it would be at least nice to know that if you were in that situation, and you could get to your cabinet, that you would be able to protect yourself and that the state would back you up afterwards.

I'll keep mine loaded and at arms length, thank you very much. When seconds count police are at best minutes away. The only thing they usually do is right a report. We are light years ahead of the UK in this respect.

Disgusting! Everything I have seen of this guy says he is a nice guy focused on his sport. I have enjoyed a great many hours of his vids and seeing his achievements. For low life trash to do this is just a sign of the effect the PC do gooders are having on society. It's clear this has really shaken him up and no doubt rattled his wife as well.
