Hi! Great video. I have been collecting LV bags and one of the things that you need to notice is where the bag is made from. The Pink one is made from France, while the Black one is made from Spain. The leather from Spain tends to be softer. (I have 2 mini pochette - one from France and the other made in Spain...and while they were the same exact bag, there were many slight differences) France and Italy tend to be more structured with a bit of softness and the ones made from USA (especially from Texas) can tend to be super structured and a lot harder (the glazing is also different) Because they are made from different countries, there will be slight differences. For the newer bags, if you watch other videos, you will also notice that many customers have returned their bags due to a very strong chemical smell. Unfortunately, this has been more and more common as of late with LV bags. More and more people, here in the US, have been noticing that LV's quality has been declining. You will start to see popped stitching, uneven glazing, smell, etc. Made in France tends to be the better quality, but that is just my opinion. The bag looks real to me but if folks are not sure, you should get them authenticated. (You can use ProAuthenticators or Entrupy). This will give you peace of mind. 😊
I beg to disagree LV is using one type of leather .. it doesn’t matter where it was made .. I think some of the bags becomes slouchy is because of the weather and maybe the black one is used already .. but rest assured the black one is fake 100 percent fake ...
@@gretelderosascharodelossantos - I totally get your point. I really do think that it's best to get the bag authenticated by a professional. We do it here in the States all the time since there are many sellers at IG. So, to be on the safe side, get it authenticated. (I have many friends who work at LV, and I'm just passing along information that they have provided) ✌
This is what I always say, there is a website or an app that does the authenticity of the bag. We can't just trust our gut feel if the bag is real or not. Also it can lose trust to buyers. This is the reason, its only good to buy at the store, if you are willing to pay full price.
Charo Delos Santos sorry but I agree with the Eileen. Different country has different leather. I have been collecting LV since 2006. I have been stationed in Europe and bought LV there. When we went back to US, I bought LV that are made in US. I compared the 4 bags that was made in 4 countries and they all felt different. The one in US has a hard canvas, France and Spain are soft, and the one in Italy I noticed that the LV logo is somewhat different in terms of color.
If you go ti any FB Louis vuitton group most people in the US are always looking for the one that was made in Europe than the one in US.

Check LOUIS VUITTON website and the NOIR POCHETTE MÉTIS it’s exactly as this one you have. It’s not fake. The difference in smell is probably due to traveling, being in confined spaces mixed with different things can alter smell sometimes.

Actually mam, sa amoy at texture palang po ay malalaman napo. And then sa hardware palang po mam makikita napo yong difference. May naencounter napo kameng ganyan sa monogram wallet naman po. May receipt dn po, box and dust bag.
Salamat sissum sa info... D ako lv buyer or magaling sa ganyan, pero sa comparison pa Lang peke na ung black.
Base sa experience ko po.. yung smell talaga.. f theres an off smell.. class super A na cguro... may fake din kci sa europe cguro..yung pagka gold din po..
Super naaaliw ako na pinanonood kita Ms Anna dahil nakakainspire ka. Hindi ko binibigyan importansiya the qualities of the bags that you sell because for me as long as I'm comfortable with my bag ok na ako kahit mura lng or if ladies like branded quality bags it's up to them, kung happy ang tao sa kung anong meron sila happy na rin ako para sa kanila. Hi Mam Anna very informative po ito and awareness na din sa mga buyers. Pero di po maganda na lubog yung part sa harapan pagka nakalapag yung bag; maari po kayang dahil mas mabigat yung hardware ng lock kaya may pagka lubog sya?
Considered factory defect pa din ba if hindi pulido yung prints for both box(brand) and bag(serial code)?
I think if one or 2 differences okay lang eh kaso madami pagkakaiba kaya medyo doubt din ako sa black one. I love watching your videos lalo na ung fake vs real. dami ko natutunan. I hope makauwi kami Pinas and makavisit ako sa one of your stores.

Hi Anna, I have an authentic Métis in black as well. Everything is symmetrical. The embossed diamond is symmetrical as well but goes halfway in the back of the lock so I guess it varies depending where it’s made, mine is made in France. No harsh smell, clean yung letters sa box, polished work lahat...even the straps, and the material is sturdy leather. Good video girl! :) Love watching you here in Los Angeles keep up the good work!
Yung flap nung black para squared and matigas pag naka tagilid hehe, and ung strap parang madumi ung stitches... pero have it checked sa LV store.

I saw 2 LV vanity bags just recently one aligned and another was not. The one not aligned was even In LV store in Paris just weeks ago. I didn’t get the one that was not aligned cause it differs so much all other photos.

With empreinte leather dalawang klase ng embossed na ang meron yung malalim and mababaw kaya hindi pwede na maging basis yung embossed.

Suggestion: compare the fake one with 2 original ones of the same model. Pag naiba, fake talaga. Mahirap kasi kung 1 is to 1 lang kasi "baka nagkataon" lang.

Nice vlog Ms Ana...i dont have a Louis Vuitton bag but when I saw this video, it kindda awaken my curiosity so I watched orher reviews of this bag and I saw someone (a foreigner) vlogged about being double disappointed with her order of this bag from LV online bec of the defects/flaws she saw. There was a part also on that video na medyo matagal ung close up and still shot sa side, ung bilog nya asa center din nung lv na tatak ung ring. The first time she ordered the bag, she returned to lv due to the flaws na nakita nya then she teceived the replacement, sfill may mga flaws and inconsistencies sya nakita the reason why she returned the LV pochette metis empreinte leather to LV...hope this helps :) un lang nakakaduda jan ung messy prints on the box and serial number and the logo inside is not centered...baka nga not original ... :) God bless

i agree with Eileen Fommanes..iba iba talaga ang quality depende kung saan binili and not all LV bags maganda ang quality. dahil my first Metis bag thatbo bought in Korea lumalagkit at may tendency na mabakbak. and sabi ng friend ko yun daw ang problema ng metis bag dahil yung sa kanya ganon din ang nangyari. Made in spain ay soft texture. because i have wallet that i bought in LV japan. but when i went to greenbelt.they have the same design pero mas matigas siya.
Pero kung ang smell niya ay matapang i think hindi siya authentic. kase yan ang una kung ginagawa kapag may gustong magbenta sa akin na sinasabing authentic. inaamoy ko. may ibang amoy kase yung mga replica . matapang yung amoy niya parang may amoy chemical.

As of late, LV and Chanel quality has gone down the drain. A good example are the new Neo Noe and the LV Nano. LVCHANEL has also shown how Chanel has failed QA 3 consecutive times.
Just because it’s a signature brand that doesn’t mean all are meticulously crafted. Since 2018, there have been issues with LV’s craftmanship. Pipping issue, mis alligned LV logo, cracking and the list goes on.
Mostly now sa LV factory defect yung bag... siguro tinatamad na ung artisan or nakalusot sa final checking... like ung previous vlog about metis na nabili nyo sa ibang bansa tapos pina exchange nyo sa LV boutique dito sa Pinas. Ang alam ko pwede mo i return/exchange ung item sa LV within 30 days on date purchased basta hindi mo pa nagagamit yung bag.
It's a fake!!! If you look at the embossing they are not even, the stars on the left side of the bag beside the LV is bigger than the right side. Some of the embossing are near the stiches on the left and not on the right side. Some others that you already pointed out were the smell and the messy logo on the box. The star on top of the tab is not on the center but leaning towards the right.

Sis fake na fake yung black, isng tingin ko lang sa datecode at sa logo sa loob..
Dito po ako sa Europe based po dito sabi nila ibat ibang country ang gumawa at ibang leather then ang ginamit hindi lahat ng country same yung material ng tela mensan soft mensan tigas na material ginamit.hindi po yun fake iba iba lang sila ng pagkagawa.

hi ms anna marami akong lv bags and ussually sa. store ako mismo nabili, though recently nakabili na ako ng 3 bags from you after further reviews and watching yout vlogs kasi i wanna make sure na legit ang bibilhin ko, im afraid buying counterfeit kasi, but to answer about my opionion i think the black is legit, sometimes ang lv hindi pulido ang gawa nila kahit sa knila mismo nanghaling ung nabili ko and i end up. changing with them bcuz of like factory defect , once nakabili ako ng cappucines walet sa singapore at di ko napansin na may. scratches ung leather at pagdating ko ng dubai. dun ko sya pinalit kasi aakalain mong peke if di ikaw mismo nakakuha sa store, so in short. kahit its original somtimes may mga di maayus na gawa si lv, so the best. is to check mismo sa lv store to be fair naman sa may ari ng bag,
It’s really hard to compare bags that was made from different countries. They all are not going to be exact especially LV has had quality issues. The best thing to do is to pay an authenticator or kinda ask LV reps. Maybe pretend that you’re having issue with the bag and they will tell you if the bag is fake or authentic.

How much is in the receipt?
Subtle yung amoy ng bagong LV eh. Kaso DE lang ang LV ko but from my experience with non LV leather bags, genuine leather smells nice and subtle di dapat unpleasant sa ilong. Regarding the symmetrical and centered embossing/debossing that can be a hit or miss. Ideally centered sya but I've seen videos of boutique bought PM na tabingi that had to be sent back by the buyers for replacement. Tas soft nga dapat yung leather but usually it will be stiff when new and will turn bbuttery soft with subsequent use. Pero andami kasing red flags in one bag parang di maganda ang vibes ko sa bag Ms. Anna. Pero mas maigi siguro magpa professional authentication na lang po kayo.

Kung legit nmn na nabili talaga sa europe ung metis bag and has a receipt if legit nmn ung receipt pyede nyo po bitbitin yan sa store ipacheck lahat.lalabas nmn po sa system ng lv kung totoong nabili yan sa store nila.thats my experience here in dubai..

There are news going around that some staff of LV abroad switch original items with fake ones if they feel that the buyer is not so keen on the details. There are even videos of clients returning fake items to LV stores.
This is true po. I know someone bumili sa lv sa manila tpos pg gamit nya sa paris, sinita sya nung SA na fake ung bag nya, buti nalang she brings her receipt all the time at pnakita nya. Nireplace ng lv paris ung bag nya ng orig and tinanggal na daw ung SA na nag asikaso sknya sa manila

Personal opinion only. Brand new louis vuitton bag has a very nice smell. My LV bags has been with me for years after it was bought from the store pero until now ang sarap pa din nya amuyin. If iba ang amoy baka nga di yan legit.

hindi po basis ang datecode to authenticate the bag andami po fake na premium quality na may code.

Ung isa pong bag is made from france & the other one is made in spain, magka iba daw po ng leather ang gamit sa spain at sa france kasi nag order ako ng wallet online LV here in holland but i get a wallet thats is made in spain kinumpara ko sia sa emilie wallet ko na made in france & totally magka iba sia ng leather type mas medyo malambot ang isa compared sa isa at may paint smell ung nabili ko na made in spain .I bought also pochette metis in reverse monogram sa amsterdam store then lately i purchased the same bag sa website ng LV online para iregalo sa bday ng sister ko the bags are both made in italy pero marami silang diff, pati ung pagka glue sa lining ng handle at pati ung lapad ng handle the other one is slightly thinner than the other one, so when i explained it to my SA at LV store sinabi nila na dahil made ang LV bags by hand so hindi tlga nagiging super exact ang lahat ng bags lalo na pag sa ibang bansa sia ginawa.
Exactly ganyan din ang explanation sa akin ng SA ko.. kasi nga maramin issue ang Métis kaya masyado kung binusisi yung bag since matagal na daw walang monogram I end up on that black leather... at lahat ng diff. Ng black na Métis sa pink na Métis Ganun is ang ang ko..
Ang best po gawin i think is ipa authenticate yung bag using Entrupy. Or, before mo bilhin or i resell yang bag na yan, have the seller contact Babebebi to have it authenticated by them. And always trust your instincts mars anna, pag feel mong fake ang bag, most probably fake.
