Hi Kai. Here is a plumbers trick. When carrying a pipe on your shoulder, you can wrap your arm up over the top of the pipe. This brings muscle up to protect the bone. Maybe this technique will work as you carry the foil on you shoulder. Good Luck.
Way to tow in shark infested waters. You look like shark week when they tow a decoy in hopes of getting a breach!! So scary, the great whites are strong in this area!!! You are a brave kid!! Much respect, from the couch in Ventura County!!
It's got to be pretty hard to show up at a new place and figure out just what's what. And it looks like you started out pretty early in the morning. You went after it, though, so kudos.
Don't know if it's legal but is certainly dangerous, and for you probly not necessary but who am I to say.. looks like a Gravy stunt. Why wasn't Jamie out?
Yea, that wasn't a good cargo ship. You should upgrade to a Mike's Lab foil, the thing you were riding looks prehistoric! Here is a good video of a proper cargo ship ride: ua-cam.com/video/lj7NWU5I7II/v-deo.html
Awesome! Did exactly that for 10 years at that spot on foil or windsurfing. On a big ebb, tanker waves are muuuuuch bigger.
I've seen some pretty big tanker waves on the Columbia River (6-8'), but it really depends on the tide and current and the direction of the ship.
That was fun, funny and yes Kai, probably illegal.

Kai the Guy! Always ready to try the extreme!
Thank you Kai. Grateful.
I going to try water-skiing behind a great lakes tanker (Superior in December is beauty). I think I'm going to need a longer tow rope.
You're out of your mind.

What next Kai, what next? 😊
Ps, that is a small container ship 😉

Try to get next to a larger container ship on an ebbing tide.
Nice weather
Poaching wakes is fun. Why such a big foil though?
Fishing lure for a great white!

What is the dangerous part? It’s no different than falling in while wing foiling except you have a support boat.
Sketchy ballz
This guy is sooo funny! But please, please don’t go in front of it!
hectic
well that sucked.
Can’t all be bangers?
Need to choose your freighter more wisely grasshopper.
AND JOB?
PSYCHE!
Not sick. Like to see Kai surf the Potato Patch when it’s pitching. THAT would be sick. This cargo ship thing is Tom-foolery.
Nice seeing you in the Bay area Kai. Be safe and kiss those babies. 👋👱♀️🇺🇲
