This is how clone bosses should be done, very similar to the original boss, but with slightly different mechanics, the doise had rocks that bounced in a different pattern, M.J has the breakable statue moved up to the top of the stage
Im a pepper madness dev and, the disco ball mechanic to replace the statue makes this boss replacement cool and it shows his personality and i love the little detail where MJ Pepper’s minions just get him off stage, i also like how you replaced the falling statues with the stage lights
This boss is pretty darn cool! I really liked the way some things were shook up this time around. The main criticism I have is that MJ Pepper’s health icons aren’t easy to quickly look at from a side view, but besides that, this is quite neat
Why I like how each playable boss gets to fight their own clone or rip off like Noise- Recolor version of The noise Pepperman- Dj version of Pepperman (Prediction for the upcoming ones) The vigilante- A cheese robber Fake Peppino- Slimer and more distorted of fake Peppino
The only thing i would change is drawing the background crowd cheering during the second phase of the battle, even if it was like 3 or 2 frames would make it way cooler!
This is an awesome boss fight right here. Kinda felt bad for MJ Pepper at the end though! His sad look breaks my heart!🥺😭 Well at least he didn’t die like The Doise did lol. Just got dragged off stage.
I've played it for 5 hours until I got to the dead end of the mod that you set at the final boss. I can't wait for the Pepperman side of the mod to be finished and look forward to seeing Gustavo.
The final boss is doable (I personally had to use bossinv though), but it takes a lot of bumbling around not being able to see a thing, sound cues definitely do help.
Makes me kinda sad that they're combining with full course because just imagine if this is what they cooked up with pepperman then imagine what vigilantes boss replacement could've been
I want to give you some advice about the pepperman . I feel like when the Pepperman got in superjump, you need to press Z while holding down the down to jump. It is very troublesome to operate. The recommended operation is the same as peppino and noise (although they are releasing the up key) Release the down key
@@Fireinthehole-114 you can just let go of down to do the jump. If you charge the jump but don't want to do it you have to cancel it by pressing attack
I got the same idea boit the head of the character in the center of the ring. But it wasn't a pepper, but a hotdog who is the owner of a catch ring (i imagine peppino fight other bosses that is themed about food, but other than pizza).
I think I remember someone making a concept for Pepperman’s version of Doise. Except it was a green Jalapeño that does AI Art. Which very easily explains the hate, lmao. Don’t remember who made it, but I know it exists.

I don’t think the mod is done yet! They’ve mostly finished working on just Floor 1 and added some other new stuff to other levels on the other floors. It might take awhile for them to finish the rest of the mod but at least floor 1 is complete now! Can’t wait until Clownmato finally becomes playable.

And he starts floating during the spin attack in phase 2
And plus doise also summoned the rocks instead of the noiseys for phase 2
And pedditto has a smaller hitbox
and then the doise died

Oh yeah they recently fixed his health icons by giving the black sunglasses white outlines around them so you can see the icons more easier.
