Thank you for another fun episode. We're squeezing in a trip to historic Cape May before the end of summer. We can't wait. Enjoy the rest of your summer. Karin
Hi Ladies, I always love watching your podcast. I want to try to squeeze in the Tolsta Tank while it’s still summer here in Florida. Have a great Labor Day. You deserve it!
A year and half ago, on our way to NJ, I was able to go to Yarnia. I met Kathleen and Haley, both of you were very nice and welcoming to your beautiful store. Kathleen your best it’s lovely. Last year I took two days classes with MJ Mucklestone and Gudrun Johnston, it was fantastic.
I just soaked all my finished socks! I plan to go to my hometown in Wallingford CT for my brother and Mary’s pop up wedding reception! Working on my grandchild’s shortie sock for Sock bingo!
Such a wonderful episode❤ warm knits are back in our lives 🥰 love to check everyone's outfit. Still on my summer plans agenda - watch outdoor movie with kiddos in the park.
Fabulous episode …. as always! Kim’s segment was outstanding. The one last “summer” activity I want to do, and, will do, is a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge!
Summer bucket list. More porch knitting now that travel has wound down. I always enjoy the podcast! Almost have my Jena top done I was inspired by Kathleen to cast on. Doing mine in Juniper Moon Farms Patagonia (cranberry) and making with either 3/4 or long sleeves. Thanks for the inspiration.
Today we went to the World Food and Music Festival in Des Moines as an end of summer bucket list must do. It was very fun and made me think of Amanda who has talked about wanting to go to it several times.
Another great episode😊Amanda, I love your blue sweater & Kathleen, your vest is just gorgeous! I’m hoping to get a few more pairs of socks knit before starting a shawl for myself!
All my kids are already back in school... However, I would like to take the kids to the private pool we are members of as much as possible before it closes for the season.
Love the podcast as always but I only have a few things left on my summer bucket list and that is to go peach or apple picking and to go to Six Flags with my family.
Kathleen. Definitely check at least one bag. You may find that international and local airlines restrict carry on sizes and weights. Having at least one larger checked bag gives you lot of flexibility and room for purchases. The baggage pick up isn’t difficult. Your carry on should be back packs or have wheels….they get heavy. The weather can be iffy and having room for puffer jackets is a life saver. Enjoy your travels!
Thanks - I'm sure we'll check at least one on the way back, but with all of our train travel in the middle of the trip, we need to stay pretty compact on the way over 😊. I'll definitely report back! ~K🧶
Hi Yarnia ladies! I’d love to finish the fingering weight long sleeved sweater that’s been on my needles for the past month. And more beach time (always) and buy flowers from the local farmer ✔️✔️✔️
I finally had the chance to catch up with some of the podcasts I’ve missed in the past month! Of course yours was top of the list.❤ My goal is to finish the unpacking from the move-and pick up my needles again.😅
😊😊😊- good luck with the unpacking! I'm answering this weeks's comments as I productively procrastinate unpacking more kitchen boxes into my new cabinets right now 😂 ~K🧶
Hello ladies! this wasn't ur question, but i think your next sweater class should be a vest that gets steeked. I am dying to do that but just cant work up the confidence to do it on my own. Now, back to your question of the week, the answer is everything summer. I got a new job in June and had a death in the family, and i feel like the whole summer just passed me by. I want to spend the next month eeking out as much summer stuff as i can - particularly as many beach days as i can.
Omg, I am so excited to have won!! I'll have to stop by soon to pick a skein. Also, so excited to see the Noro restock! I think I bought some of the last skeins of Sake during last year's wool walk 😂
Yay! Congrats again! If I'm not there when you come in, have whichever colleague is working contact me so we can process it as a free skein. 🧶🧡😊~Kathleen
Hi Haley, Kathleen and Amanda, Thanks for another enjoyable episode. Planning on working on a few wips, sitting outside in nice weather, visiting with friends and family and having fun! Happy Knitting 🧶 😊
It must be awesome to knit with your daughter, Kathleen! Did you teach her to knit? Love the cable addition to the flax sweater, Amanda! How clever? Your gentleman's cabled sweater is beautiful!
I did teach her to knit and crochet when she was home from school with pneumonia for some weeks when she was about 7 and after a couple of weeks got bored with TV and videos. 🧡🧡🧡
Love watching your podcast! The last summer activity for me includes about 101 projects! Knitting, crochet, quilting and just enjoying a summer evening outside.❤
Not sure about the question either but love your podcast! Last summer activity is spending some more time on the boat and helping son land a 360 on wakesurf board! Also not a huge fan of s’mores but I will eat a whole bag of marshmallow’s 😂
I’m in Southern California so our summer last well into November.. which is great since my bucket list is to finish my Whitmoor Sweater in time for our family Thanksgiving dinner. I’m hoping 2 extra months will get me through all the stockinette .. 😂😂 great podcast guys. My motivation to come back home to the East coast to visit the store
Sesame Street story. When my daughter was 5 we met my mother in law at a puppetry convention and she introduced us to Carroll Spinney the Big Bird originator. He was not in costume but he greeted my daughter in character with “ Hi, I’m Big Bird” . She looked at him sceptically and said “ No you’re not”
My sister’s birthday is August 24, my birthday is September 24th and my brother is November 24th. How funny the 24th is your families special day, and mine.

Wow I’m gonna have to try indoor s’mores! I loved the cable sleeve on the flax.
Planning on finishing my summer tee so I can wear it this year. Love all the Rhinebeck sweaters!

Whale watching off Montauk. It’s an all day thing with the r/t drive. Fingers crossed I make it by the end of September!

Love that! 😂😂😂
I absolutely love that Blue sweater Amanda made. Such a gorgeous color. Do you guys have it there? What is us called?
It's stunning, isn't it? We do stock it - Malabrigo Rios in the color Leo. 💙
Need to get a kayak float in at my local park- I am overdue for some time on the water- where did my Summer go?
It flew, didn't it?
