Yes, that’s a great option! I think wearing black always makes me look like I’ve been on holiday in the summer and white does the same in winter... counterintuitive! The Souple is a great option also!

They are so beautiful, more decoration than practical 🥰. I typically prefer unstructured bags too, but I love the history attached to these too.... so I put them on display 😂😂

That’s it, special pieces and not all bags need to do all things. I’m so grateful my husband decided for me, I don’t know that I would have done... but then... the sequin Fendi happened ... who knows what I’m capable of!

This bag, boite chapeau I find mostly around 4-5k on second hand so it’s really good idea to get it preloved

Thank you so much for this review! I know that there are « cloches » to hide the keys for the lock. But with this one there is no cloche. Do you just suggest to buy a key pouch to hang it on the bag?
No cloche with the Cannes that I’m aware of as with other bags like the Alma etc
They are both beautiful! Honestly I wouldn’t purchase either as I def need a crossbody. Since I need the bag to hold my phone, I would choose the Cannes but would love either if they had been gifted by someone special.
That would be a smart choice, you have to go with what’s right for you! At the end of the day, sometimes practicality isn’t my number one priority but mostly it is so I’m lucky to have choices in my collection. I hope you find the perfect bag for you! 😘
As beautiful as the Boite Chapeau may be (and it is quite stunning), I find it far too impractical for me. I like to have a bit of "room to breathe" in my bags rather than having to play Tetris to fit everything in.
Yes it’s a bag you have to be prepared to take out, the absolute bare minimum

Both are stunning. In regards to the The Petite Boîte Chapeau you have mentioned it is heavy. Is it similar weight as the Chanel jumbo? I found the Jumbo very uncomfortable and hard to enjoy because of the weight so just wondering if this one would be hard to wear all day out because of the weight. Thank you.
Hmmm it’s just a more solid bag, I wouldn’t say uncomfortable the strap isn’t the most comfortable though!

Every video I have watched, people complain how hard it is to open and close with one had and the strap gets in he way to open it while on shoulder. Now I’m having second thoughts, seeing how easily you open and close it 🤦🏻♀️🤔
