What brilliant video about a great car. Having lived in Banbury from 1972-96 then Shipston on Stour till present i obviously know Sunrising hill very well. But i didn't realise it had sporting history but considering the early days of motoring the hill having a sporting past makes perfect sense. When i looked into the hills history it was said in 2022 there were numerous complaints of fast illegal competitive driving between groups of "cruisers" (articles description not mine) as well as some crashes. Also as I'm a lorry driver I'm 95% doubtful if it was true but I read in a truck magazine once of a truck driver saying he was overtaken halfway on the hill by a tipper truck once, considering the gradient and the bends this must've been down not up but you never know!!!
Wish they made a modern flat rad. Of course I'm extremely pleased the car's are still being made, but like the Rolls Royce the bulbous aggressiveness and oversized, flashy conceits just don't have the same appeal. Still, I suppose they're not meant to; the new styles of conspicuous, bloated wealth and gracelessness represent today's new values very well.
Watched this a few times now and enjoyed it every time
That is my new favorite color combination of body and wheels. If I ever buy a Morgan, I’m getting it to match yours. It’s beautiful.
Yes great story thanks for sharing.
Thank you for sharing a lovely story.
An emotive video illustrating a fantastic story. That machine is a credit to him!

I much prefer the flat rad to the 'modern' flowing version.
Morgan is one of the last few British institutions left.
Made in Britain (with BMW engines) but owned by an Italian investment firm these days
Wish they made a modern flat rad.

Very few flat rate left most rotted away .
The music is annoying
It drives on the wrong side of the road.
