It’s referring to a Mario maker video simple made (called:The Secret Chain Chomp Mechanic). In it he pretends to have Matt edit the chain chomps fly from their poles. This is a real mechanic, and is not edited. After about 300 seconds in Mario 3, the chain chomps will fly away from their poles
