11 mins in scene with erg piece is undefeated- the will to win is nothing without that. Also Coach Frandsen talking at 15 mins in has me ready to run thru a brick wall- so relatable.
Great insight into the Cal rowing philosophy. Another excellent documentary from Nick Trojan. As a rowing coach, I really enjoy Nick's films on US collegiate coaches and programmes across the pond. More please.
@@sneeky_ I'm sure you could do vids of OUBC & OULBC as well as CUBC for starters. Would be very cinematic. A promo for LUBC would be enormously beneficial to recruitment.
I remember once doing 500m in 1:37 and it felt like my heart and lungs were going to explode. Doing 2000m in just over 6 minutes is INSANE; these guys are truly on a whole other level. You did a great job at showing this with your awesome film work and editing skills!
Loved the segment on the erg shown here. Splits on the erg aren't the same as strokes on the water, but few things in life are as individually meritocratic as the ergometer. This seems to be a broader portrait of the sport of rowing itself than your Harvard or Yale Crew docs--which were as much portraits of the coaches as anything. I dig that each of your rowing documentaries has a different angle in addition to a different setting.

Thank you again. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

This is amazing, it would be sick to see one of these for cornell or georgetown
Thanks Sam. Hopefully someday soon
The, "Do you want me to put shoes on? They are soaking from this morning," tells you they are real rowers. I feel that.

Plenty of them will go under 6 minutes on the erg, and they’ll make 6 minutes for 2k look easy on the eights.
Thank you.
Love from NAC, if you could do Washington next that would be awesome. Great job, Trojan!

Thank you Brad. Your feedback is extremely helpful for future growth in these docs. Looking forward to providing more.
These are insane! Love it, keep it up. Bringing such professional production to collegiate rowing is wonderful to see
Thank you 🙏
