Prepping Our Alaska Homestead

We are prepping our Alaska homestead for summer and winter today. Getting the garden ready and getting firewood put away for winter is on our to do list today. Our summers in Alaska are short, so there is always a ton to do in a little amount of time.

We are a young family living life in Alaska. We got married at 18 and 19. I had our first baby at 19, and our second 2 years later. I am a mom of 5 by day, as I work as a Nanny. Samuel is working as a structural engineer while taking grad classes.

The latest videos of Fairbanks shows extensive snow fall. I hope you got everything done that you wanted to get done before the snow fell. But It sure does take a lot of practice with the chainsaws.
