Actually, no. Screams are really easy to pull off. The hardest thing is clean voice, and that isn't even that hard once you open the gate of mixed voice.

It sounds like a mid range scream, but it could be a fry scream. The deep scream definitely hurt his chords but all other ones seem good
The fact that his normal singing voice sounds fine and he has such power and control, and as a self taught metal vocalist of around 5-6 years now, and never hurting my chords too much with some iffy scream technique at times, I can say with like 90% certainty he's fine.

Elena's vocals in the original, vs Christian's in this cover, were untrained for this style. The composer, though, wanted the raw sound. I prefer Christian's well-trained version, though. It's cleaner.
