great advice and ideas, I've been going to horror cons for years and it's normally cheaper (for autographs) if you bring your own items. i`m planning my 2nd comic con later this year.
I have yet to go to a horror con, but I have friends that go, so I really need to tag along. I love comic cons and really try to support my locals ones.

picked myself up a comic box!!! a better way to take some comics to work to read on my down time.
I love my carry box! I even take an empty one with me to pick up my pull box, save a bag!
I always carried tons of snacks to share with folks in those long con lines.
It can really be a life saver!

Snacks and drinks are really important because some cons charge a really ridiculous amount for food and drinks
That they do! I usually pack 2 bottles of water and make a couple sandwiches!
I find that it's usually the smallest conventions that have the best deals! New York Comic Con and SDCC have everything so overpriced!
I love my local cons and am much happier to support them!

i have to add tissues,hand sanitizer,and i love getting autographs on 8x10s so i bring extra photo top loaders.
