Helps if someone knows who Chris Eubank is, otherwise it's just Greg doing a silly voice.
Greg was on Graham Norton publicising his sitcom 'Man Down' where he plays a screw up of a teacher, if you like little kids abusing adults then this might be for you. He also did a another sitcom called 'Cuckoo' where his daughter brings home an American free spirit hippy type from her gap year travels. The first season has Andy Sandberg and the following seasons has Tayor Lautner. Both comedies are worth a watch.
Greg Davies’s man-down is hilarious
Grag Davies' appearances on Graham Norton's show are always brilliant. He's one of those guys who, like Bob Mortimer, is just naturally funny. If you get chance to check out Taskmaster, please do. Most TM compilations are, understandably, of the contestants and tasks themselves, but there is the odd compilation or two of Greg (in his position of Taskmaster) passing judgement in the studio segments, and he's amazing.
What makes Greg work so well as the Taskmaster is because he is so dynamic in switching from being serious and imposing to being a giddy child just having a laugh. He can be light and cheeky but can also come down like a ton of bricks when it's called for

One of Greg’s schoolteacher stories I love is when his drama class was doing their performance final exam. Some bastard was up on the catwalk flicking pieces of blue tack down at the kids and putting them off. It was Greg!!!! 🤣
I think the Graham Norton talk show is much better than the American talk shows. Graham Norton knows when to shut up and let the guests speak, whereas the hosts on the American shows keep interrupting and interjecting and think it's all about them.
He's also great at switching the focus so every guest get a chance.
And he makes sure they have drinks.
It ain't just Yanks that could do with learning this skill, just look at James Corden...
If he spoke half as much as he does then I'd be very happy!

The censorship on language and stories being too "immoral or controversial" in North America leaves the intervers and guests having to stay too vanilla and boring for my taste. They try but rules hamper them.

The Graham Norton Show is brilliant because he's a superb chat show host. Knows when the step back and let the guests speak and he also excels at making the guests feel relaxed so rather than recycling the same PR guff to promote whatever they're booked to promote they have a genuine laugh as if they were talking to a friend down the pub. There's a reason mega Hollywood A listers such as Tom Cruise, Jennifer Lawrence, Dwayne Johnson, Hugh Jackman keep coming back on. As for Greg Davies, he's a brilliant story teller like you say. I think you'd very much enjoy Taskmaster
Greg Davies used to be a teacher at my school before he got into comedy, so was weird seeing him in the inbetweeners 😅
I think 'Firing Cheeseballs at a Dog' was my favourite of his stand-up shows.

one of the things on british chat shows (less so now) is that there was always booze around. back stage and even front of house so the guests were often anywhere between buzzed and absolutely hammered to get good stories out of them. for good examples of this look up oliver reed on aspel. and chris odowd on the last leg
a few have said it but yeah Greg Davies 'Man Down' series are well worth a watch....funny stuff

Good question. The dog tag was my grandfathers. There’s always two dog tags. I have this one, my father has the other one. My grandfather died when I was young so I wear it to honor him and his service in the Pacific in WW2.

Greg Davies is one of the most naturally funny comedians in the U.K. at the moment, only other one that gets me laughing like he does is John Robins. Much less well known but very funny, John Robins won the Edinburgh Comedy Award a few years ago and has a Radio/Podcast show along side Elis James. Worth a watch, although his clips aren't as readily available.

I don't know if this is the same as the person you mentioned, but i often think that I am subbed to a channel that I'm not because their videos get pushed to me in my recommendations. I end up not missing a single video and after a while i'll notice and sub. Pretty sure i was watching your channel for months before I subbed. and saying that I probably should check if i am or not 😂
Some years back I was campaigning for the legalisation of medicinal cannabis, and one of my BBC radio interviews was supposed to happen (this one by phone) within a two hour window.
I woke up just before that window opened early in the morning, decided I had time to use the loo, I didn’t.
So there’s me, sat in the toilet, mid-sh*t, giving a live interview on BBC radio.
Still managed to slyly wipe my arse and get back to my room to sit on the bed and finish the interview in a better acoustic environment, I’m a bit of a germ freak so not being able to wash my hands straight away was difficult, but almost the worst part, was that I very nearly flushed the loo straight after, while live on air,……
Don’t know how I survived that one, but I did, and now I’m stoned and no longer considered a criminal, so I still chalk that one up as a win, lol

I know it’s been recommended but you have to watch complete episodes of Taskmaster where comedians have to do tasks and Greg Davies is the taskmaster who judges how well they did. Also have to watch his sitcom ‘Cuckoo’

Not sure if you have Amazon prime video or even if the US and UK have similar content but you should check out the Armstrong and Miller show. It's a really good sketch show so there's loads of different reactions you could get from that one show.
