This is a stock standed bike zx1400r Kawasaki, i love them, the only difference that this gentleman is going to look forward too is upgrades, 226hp and 133 of torque. Totally different ride.
Dude I like the attempt and I own and ride, everyday, the 325th ZX-14 production bike delivered to America. Could you try a different mount for the camera next time? It would be nice to see above your speedo.
Rite on, These Zx14's are beast, Ive owned a 2009 & 2012. Be carefull they dont have much fairing/engine case clearance at knee dragging pace. We were dragging them even when the rear was raised up 3/4 of a inch using a 200 series dunlop slicks.
i am 70 kgs , and the stock tire pressures are 42 front and rear . can u tell me how much should i puttin them down to? and any idea on a new sc2 tires how many laps of track length 3.7 kms would it need to get warmed without tire warmers ?
Race Tires you run at alot lower psi, the dunlop slick I was using i set at 29 front and 21 rear cold. each tire is different. Ask the the pirelli vendor when you at the track. I find the track suspension guy to set your sag and damping settings, you might need go up 1 psi on the tires since its a heavy bike. I run between 34-38 on street tires when riding the zx14 on the street.
Jesse James Provencio thanks . i have another question. i heard one of my friend say , when u ride on the sc2's on track , when the tires in its heated condition , we tend to slide while exiting a corner and giving gas of the corner . is that truee ? if so i need to b cautious as i have a bigger weight to think about .

Those are awesome numbers, is that to the rear wheel?

hi , i am planning to take my 14r 2013 to the track.
planning to put the pirelli sc2 on them..
would it go well with those ?
Those are great tires, just make sure you use tire warmers properly and set your tire pressures correctly.

They stick very well, in order to get a new dialed in set to slide, you need to be overly aggressive on the throttle coming off the apex of turn.
How did you adjust the suspension settings
Dave Moss Suspension Tuner set the sag and damping for my 185lb friend, I wieght 225.
