What you fail to recognize is that decolonization doesn’t happen overnight. It doesn’t happen because colonizer is a good guy and decides to leave out of his own goodwill. Learn history. Any history of any nation. Everyone at any point of time suffered oppression and every single nation had to fight for their rights. Palestinians have been suffering for almost a decade so yes they have the right to resist, no it’s not right to target civilians, but if there is a genocide, there is hurt, you grow up seeing your family members and even kids your age disappear one after another, how can you grow up and not want to seek freedom? “Israeli” occupation is illegal just as Crimean annexation is illegal. War crimes have no justification so don’t humiliate yourself with ignorance for ignorance is always a denial of dignity. People who suffer have dignity. You enjoy your freedom and so you should also wish that others get to enjoy it too. I used to be a liberal and now I am call myself a conservative but it does not matter what my political stance is. I am a human being and no human being should be staying silent about the genocide that is going on. I am ashamed of our nation and our congress at this moment in time. Can we please have leaders that are pro-peace instead of supporting a regime that is an occupier and apartheid?
