The voice actress for Ducky has a very sad story. That poor little girl, taken from this earth far too early by the man who should have protected her. She had such a cute voice for Ducky. She sounded so happy. I bet it was a lot of fun for her to be her voice ❤️
I can't even watch reactions of this movie, much less the movie as a whole, without bawling my eyes out over Little Foot's mom's death. Loss and grief are so painful, and it's especially gut-wrenching to see it happen to a little kid. I do appreciate, however, that this movie, compared with other kid's movies, actually lingers on the aspect of grief and having to slowly come to terms with the loss rather than just doing a time skip or jumping to a happy song to switch the mood. I think it's good for children to see that.
This movie as well as the franchise was wonderful part of my childhood. I highly recommend these other movies: We’re Back: A Dinosaur Story, Disney’s Dinosaurs, The Brave Little Toaster, and Disney’s Air Bud.
Same and even more since I learnt that in the french version, Petrie is voiced by the boss of the french voice cast (he was the voice of a lot of Disney characters)
I can't watch this movie the same way anymore once I found out about Judith Barsi who voiced the character Ducky, her abusive father murdered her and her mum as she slept, she was 10 years old . On her headstone reads the words Yep, Yep, Yep which was her catch phase in the land before time 😢😢😢. Rest in peace Judith Barsi.
This movie is even more sad when you find out what happened to the girl doing Ducky's voice. He father was very abusive and in a rage killed her and her mother. Her career was just getting started
Oh my God I haven't watch this movie in years!!! Love this movie when I was a kid. Plus, I remember Little Foot's Mother being an absolute badass when she fought the T-Rex to protect Little Foot and Cera. Thank you for reacting this movie! And the thirteen sequels are good in their own way.
Great reaction! :D People always used to say back then that either Bambi or Lion King was very sad with that ONE scene in each. For me it was ALWAYS Land Before Time, even though now after losing my dad in 2021 Lion King hits different. But such a great animated movie, loved watching it back then and the credits song is forever burnt within my mind and heart.
@@mrsiimple Oh yes I heard about that recently through one of those UA-cam crime channels(I think the name of the channel was Eleanor). I was so shocked and upset that I couldn’t finish watching the video and one go like I normally do.
Great movie, but sad too in real life. The girl who played Ducky's voice, and her mother, were murdered by her dad. Rest in peace Judith Barsi. Only 10 years old
Omg one of my all time FAVORITES! This film taught me why racism is wrong, in its own way, using different species of dinosaurs. I just remember being 4 or 5 years old, feeling sad for them because they weren't allowed to play with each other. Then they broke all the rules and did it anyway! And this had a big impact on me as a kid. Also his mom's death in this film is right up there with Mufasas death. I cry, always.
I love the first movie of Universal's The Land Before Time movie franchise better than the sequels the ones are direct home videos, because the first one that released in theaters is so good.
This 21 year (at the time) went to see this movie wearing a thick coat and a hat. I sat in the back so: I wouldn't be easily seen. And to keep myself from being blasted by popcorn thrown by a bunch of bratty kids. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Watching it again as an adult and knowing more of the backstory between the Don Bluth and Disney war and I noticed just how much the Lion King ripped this movie off after seeing details like the mention of the circle of life and Littlefoot's mom appearing in the clouds. The other 4 Bluth movies that are must watches are the Secret of NIMH, An American Tail, All Dogs go to Heaven, and Anastasia

Oh have I shed tears over this movie.
Absolutely love this movie! The entire franchise was a huge part of my childhood, so many wonderful memories:) Great reaction :)

Awesome!!!
Very nostalgic 🙌
Yep yep yep!

I totally agree. The original is where it's at. The rest are just okay.
I haven't even watched the reaction yet, but a simple mention of this movie takes me back to my childhood
Same

@@a.g.demada5263 she’s actually referring to the sequels

RIP to the voice actress of Ducky!

This whole franchise was a big part of my childhood! I watched all the films up to 2007 and also enjoyed the TV series that was made.
Same, then turned around and made my neices and nephiews watch them all
This movie is even more sad when you find out what happened to the girl doing Ducky's voice. He father was very abusive and in a rage killed her and her mother. Her career was just getting started
This was the first ever dinosaur movie I saw growing up, with no humans or crazy scientists bringing them back to life. Lol!!

Yeah, still can't watch this one without crying. Hits hard.
Yes! A true Don Bluth classic!
Great reaction! :D

Yep Yep Yep 😊😊😊
Ducky is the cutest!!! Yep yep yep. And Petrie has to be the funniest. “ you go without.. Petrie?”
sad story about the actor though :(

Truly heart breaking 😭😭😭 she didn’t deserve that at all 💔💔💔💔💔💔
Omg I USED TO LOVE THIS MOVIE AS A LITTLE KID, I’m glad you decided to react to it! ☺️
This movie still makes me bawl like a two headed baby!
Longest sad moment sequence in animation, period!
Aww! Damn! 😥
My daughter used to watch all these movies when she was a kid religiously almost every day. She's 21 now. Ah! The memories.

And I heard he did it because he was jealous that his daughter was making more money than he was.
@@dimoned123He also did it because his wife filed for divorce and was planning on leaving him and taking Judith.
Loved this film as a kid, though the sequels just never seemed to match up to the Don Bluth standard.
I had this on VHS and watched so many times I burned the tape a bit.
I loved this movie truly an classic 🥰🥰🥰
Please do Disney Dinosaur (2000)🦖🦕
It’s probably the most underrated Disney movie ever
YES
The moms death always tears me up.
This movie made me cry like a little b**ch when I saw it as a toddler 😢
The music😭😭
James Horner is always a win *ding ding ding*
I have lost my mother last year, i cry everytime i watch this movie now
the girl behind duckys voice didn't live to see this premier or the premeir of all dogs go ot heaven; which she voiced anne marie .
I have this on blu ray. Looooove this movie
I was today years old when I found out this movie was about racism
Please react to The Brave Little Toaster!
Nothing quite hits like a 80/90s cartoon
Every time I hear Ducky speak, it hurts.
Simple wholesome story reminds me of the old Disney movies
I remember watching this movie in preschool 😂 this used to be one of my childhood favorite movies

My mother is still live but after I watch this I cry like my mother already pass away 😂😂

Всего четыре главных героя с такой же судьбой 😢
БЭМБИ 🦌,Симба 🦁, Маленькие ножки 🦕
И КРЕПЫШ 🐕 советский персонаж 1950 года.
I remember watching these when I was younger love them. Well only the first 7, then I lost interest.
Perfect 🤩
This is outta left field but can you guys react to 2001: a Space Odyssey somewhere down the line
I got the Peter Griffin reference. *hums Jurassic Park theme"🤣
One of my favorite movies as a kid
Movie still makes me cry
