Dan Vasc is simply amazing in everything he does. To answer your questions, yes, he has original stuff. His band's name is Fearless. And yes, he sings in other languages as well (check out Nessum Dorna or Angels We Have Heard on High - both showcase his operatic talents beautifully as well as multi-lingual). And highly, highly recommend his version of My Heart Will Go On. You will not be disappointed! As others have said, it is EPIC. ❤
Hi Polly - just a little note - if you're going to recommend Dan's opera aria, it's NessuN Dorma, not Nessum. There's a typo on the thumbnail that's never been fixed.
He was also the lead singer of Orions Reign and has an album with them, Scores of war. Also on Confessori you'll find where the eagles fly.

Dan's mother tongue is Brazilian Portuguese and he is also 1/4 Italian.
He is learning Italian on the side, he said in a podcast.

Dan has 245 videos on his channel. He’s a metal singer but he doesn’t make every song metal. He “fixes” the songs. A lot of his videos are a few years old. He no longer has Patreon. He always surprises but never disappoints!! He’s brilliant! He lives in Brazil so yes English is his second language. Yes he has his own band, Fearless,-and he has original songs.
Dan Vasc sang the song "Cancion Del Pirata" by Dark Moor in Spanish. In Japanese the song "Dam Da Ne (Baka Mitai) 😆. In Latin the song" Adeste Fideles ". In Italian, together with Rehn Stillnight, the song" Time To say goodbye or the song "Nessun Dorma.... World class ♥️.

The guitarist is Victor the Guitar Nerd 😀 That's the name of his channel. You should check it out and react to some of his stuff (which includes some WONDERFUL original music). He's Swedish, and is one of the members of the band named "Eleine" over there. He's been collaborating with Dan since WAY back. The two most recent ones were from the end of 2023.
VERY EARLY IN THE MORNING (Think "Two Minutes to Midnight") on October 31, 2023, they brought us: The Number of the Beast (a wonderful rendition of the Iron Maiden original).
On December 21, 2023, they brought us: Metal musicians perform "O Holy Night" (Dan's WONDERFUL revision of the classic Christmas hymn).

YES! Dan and his band FEARLESS do have originals. Currently there is still only one full album on all the music venues. It's called "Chronicles of Ancient Wisdom," and it's presented in a Tolkien-like manner. There are 12 progressive tracks, with the first one being a really-well-done spoken prologue.

YT also carries a FEARLESS - TOPIC that has all of the audio files for Chronicles of Ancient Wisdom right there (plus a DAN VASC - TOPIC that carries all of his audio albums).
The band consists of Dan Vasc (the main lyricist and the lead singer); Davi (Dah-VEE) Vasc (Dan's two-year-younger brother, who plays bass, and is also a lyricist, plus he wrote a lot of the music); Gabriel Belozi (one of their childhood friends, who plays any other guitar, both metal and acoustic, and is, typically, the main arranger); and Giovanni Rezende (another of their childhood friends, who plays the most fantabulous drums you have ever heard...in my opinion, anyway, and he is also Dan's "social guy," who posts reels, etc., in the appropriate venues). 😀
We have, off and on, heard rumors of a second original album being in the works, but all four of the men have their own very busy channels (some of them have more than one), and Dan is also busy getting the final stuff done for his Full Tribute Album of MANOWAR songs, so it remains to be seen, when the next original album will be produced (they do it all themselves...no outside producers involved, period).
NOTE: There is also another original "out there." If you check out Ricardo Confessori's channel, you can find "Where the Eagles Fly." Ricardo wrote the music, and Dan wrote the lyrics, and sings the song. It's short and simple, but profound, and it sounds WONDERFUL! 😀

Yes...Dan's original language is Brazilian Portuguese. He speaks English proficiently. He also speaks Italian well (he has Italian blood, from his dad's mom's side of the family), and in many of his songs, he also brings in other languages (check out his Christmas offerings, and BE SURE to read his Descriptions and sometimes Pinned Comments).

Fantastic!!! There's no cover Dan has done that isn't much better than the original. And with this one we get lots of Dan smiling, dancing and swinging that glorious hair. What more could we want? To your questions, Dan is Brazilian, fluent in his native Portuguese and English, quite a bit of Italian. His cover of Angels We have Heard on High is Italian, German, Portuguese and English. He's classically trained and can sing literally anything from metal to Opera. Listen to Nessun Dorma, Music of the Night, and Gethsemane from Jesus Christ for a good display of not only his voice and range but his performing skills. He should be a superstar by this time.

Yes, Dan has originals with his band "Fearless". He is Brazilian and he speaks Portuguese & English as his 2nd language he also speaks, Italian, Latin, German and some Japanese. A very multi talented man! You have to listen "My Heart Will Go On" this is so unlike any other version you have ever heard of before, I guarantee you!!
Great reaction. As I much as I like the original, I absolutely cannot get enough of Dan's performance with Victor the Guitar Nerd's instrumentals of course. As for original work, some have already mentioned his band Fearless and their album Chronicles of Ancient Wisdom. I highly recommend it. Also I highly recommend this video - Confessori featuring Dan Vasc 'Where the Eagles Fly'. Dan wrote and performed the lyrics for the song/video. Hail Vasc-Nation❤🤘✝

This is one of my top 3 songs by Dan. Just the sheer joy on his face - he's having a blast!! Check out Angels We Have Heard on High. Dan sings the first verse in Italian, the second verse in German, the third verse in Brazilian Portuguese (native language), and finishes with the last verse in English.
