Looking back I didn’t realize how young these girls were in 1975. I was only 18 at the time, it really takes me back, they were the best.

Thats not their hair! they weren't bald but those were wigs and pieces. My sister wore enough of that stuff back in those days.
I will say that I find it amazing that all of them were slim enough to wear those out fits, What are those chances none of your kids were overweight or too skinny?

What a classic performance by the very young Sister Sledge with the heart felt dance song!! But that host/interview dude (think some Philly TV personality) was such a condescending asshole - but of course, the gorgeous sisters were classy, mannered and polite and didn’t call the clown on it!😁

They mentioned going to Japan to sing it, that probably explains why that song got a single release over there, but not in the States.

The other sisters had to feel like crap with even the host realizing that Kathy was the voice of the group.
Yes she was lead, but the other sisters scored hits too, and several wrote songs :)
They were family: "Have faith in you and the things you do, you can't go wrong".

Yes...they talked and reconciled in January, thankfully. I LOVE these ladies!
