avoid indigo airlines if you are going to UAE and have connecting flights, this proble is only with indigo, if you take flydubai flight, it will not have that problem as UAE honors their own airlines and they know the policies better, Indigo was banned twice at UAE

Brother I also booked a flight with Indigo my layover is just 4 hours, but I got the transit visa of 48 hrs maybe because my outbound flight from UAE is by Etihad and not Wizz air. I will have 4 hours to deboard from Indigo collect baggage and check into Etihad for USA.

Fly with different Flights doesn't matter but for transit visa you need layover between 8 hour to 48 hour

Yes you must need transit visa but your lay over is less than 8 hour so in this case you need tourist visa or you will cancel your Etihad ticket and book another flight with 8 to 48 hour layover then you will get your transit visa

Wizz air don’t respect Indian. They sell ticket to Indian then refuse boarding to Indian. Sorry for bad experience in abudhabi.
