For those wondering why Chris’s algalam is a bow and arrow, that is the true form of her gear. However, Cris grew up is war zones so seeing guns all the time made her imagination influence her gear.

Justic they were her dual crossbows and Billion Maiden her dual miniguns. In fact she used Billion Maiden so much that much of her poster art and such has her wielding them and not the crossbows.
Chris basically just took Ichival’s power from myth to devise her arsenal, Ichival in myth could take one arrow and when shot it would multiply midair (I forget if it was 10X or 100X though) effectively making it a one person barrage weapon. Chris took that concept and her imagination made her gear take the form of weapons capable of blanketing a battlefield in shots.
@@Crescendobro Ichaival has no myth to take from. It has no known sources or origins, it just seems to have appeared on the internet one day and spread from there. If anything Chris is taking from that lack of an origin to make the weapon whatever she wants.

Would honestly make sense. I think the gears take the form of the weapon the user desires the most (and probably fits with the most)
It's kind of fitting that Chris' Amalgam both uses her reflectors for attack and is used to save lives. From the beginning she was a girl who just wanted wars to end. So nice that her efforts here were towards saving lives.
I mean I’m sure she could use those barriers for attack too, she just opted to save them this time. Those arrows would probably have massive penetrating power, could probably explode into crystal shrapnel like Giga Zeppelin or even expand that barrier inside her opponent if she wanted.

fun fact: it was mentioned in one of the symphogear radio episodes that the full attack name is supposed to be read "Double For All De Le Metalica"
the "∀∀" is meant to be read "Double For All" because it's the mathematical symbol "for all" repeated twice, for... some reason

It is fitting Chris' amalgam move was not an attack but a barrier. She always wanted to make a world into peaceful place with her songs, so she turned her final attack into live-saving action empowered by her music, exactly as her parents wanted

The villains for the last season were cool design wise but I did not feel bad for them. However, for the most part there were a couple times where I felt bad for them but I just can’t overlook what they did.

1 more episode of Symphogear. I for one am excited for it. But saddened. I just found this series recently and watched from season 1 to get caught up to season 5 in less then 2 weeks. It was a wild ride. And if there's a dub, please don't dub the music, I will buy all 5 seasons and rewatch them in english.

it occurs to me that this season has a couple points where people get slapped into walls/floors in funny ways.

Cant believe its one final ep for the end of this beautiful series, pumping up our blood pressure with the bombastic action, OST and visuals, im gonna miss chris and tsubasa a lot, same with the rest of he cast, hope next week it ends 10x more amazing than ever for a last "THE POWER OF NANA COMPELS IT!"

What if it is the Steath song of Stealthy Stealthiness? Surely belting that as high as you can will make you the most stealthy that was ever stealthy!
They can not sing, but the armor strenght gets lower, the stronger the emotions in the singing, the more phonic gain they generate, for being stealthy, a faust robe is better or other kind of relic
Haxe Faust Robes also can use Phonic Gain for enhanced power, that or they can use alternative energy sources like Carol’s Memory Combustion or Saint Germain’s Lapis, however if extra power is needed the user can also sing for Phonic Gain like how Carol used it in S3 to own all 6 SG wielders and how Saint Germain and her crew sung to transmute the nuke into harmless light
@@Crescendobro yeah, i know, but i wa smainly refering to the other energy methods, since gears cant be stealthy since its constantly playing the BGM of the music, while faust robes allow to or not sing if the user so desires, though i guess the nehushtan is best for stealthyness from the relics we know of
That is true, but the Nehusten armor was destroyed by at the end of season 1. Also they don't need stealth like most of the time the enemy strikes first and Alca-Noise or Alchemist have to be dealt with immediately due to amount destruction they cause.

@@EvilpowerWarrior each season has 13 eps, but each one also gets progressively better, once you pull from s1, which is the weakest, its a rollercoaster of hype and adrenaline, plus the main characters that are pretty lovable, if you like mahou shoujo with mech style armors and that they fight as they sing, this show is for you, a legit good original franchise

What the hell did I just watch
Symphogear, a great original series, the basic concept is mahou shoujos that fight while singing in a mech oriented suit
So basically Gundam + K-ON = Symphogear
The Noble Red girls are part of the best things from this season. I really loved Vanessa and Elsa deep pain when they fought. Millaarc, on the other hand, proved to be a badass merciless villain until the end of her fight against Maria and (detestable) Tsubasa.
alot of people really hate them because of their senseless killings, especially millaarc but i like how they still went out deciding to be "monsters" but on their own terms as monsters instead of the label they spend near the whole season trying to throw away
A major problem I had with noble red was just how unrepentant they were and yet the show still constantly wanted us to feel bad for them. Saint Germaine was a villain doing evil acts for the greater good so I could understand and feel bad for her, and Carol while unrepentant never desired pity nor tried to get us to empathize with her and had a lot more charisma than Noble Red. Another major issue is just how much screen time they got which could have gone to far more important issues such as Shem-ha/Miku.
@@Allknowing18 their acts were never redeemable but the thing is they were already working for fudo since the start of season 5 and that guy is pretty messed up, hes been using them from the beginning and noble red didnt have anyone else to turn to after being ostracized as monsters for so long and if the scene after this is anything to go by noble red always knew that their actions were considered evil, they just never acknowledge the consequences that in their bid to become humans once again they were throwing away their human heart so even if they did succeed in throwing away their body of monsters they wouldve ended up with the heart of monsters instead
this is what chris meant by them not having a "home" to returns to, they wouldve become the very thing they were trying to avert and its chris who tells them this because she went through something similar in season 1 working for and being used by fine but despite expressing the fact that they couldent take it anymore, that they were tried of acting like monsters they still knew that they were irredeemable and they had already committed to becoming monsters in both body and heart anyway so they wanted to be monsters till the very end
this is why they attribute their final act of using daedalus end to give the symphogears users a safe passage back to earth from the moon at the cost of their own lives to being a monster's death throes, a curse "laid by a monsters in its last moments, a way to resist by showing the heroes we hate so much that earth can no longer be saved", to go out on their own terms as monsters but despite everything they did they were still given a last respite by the symphogear users; hibiki believes its a blessing instead, gratitude was expressed and chris said their feelings will be delivered for them; ""to the place we call home" and this is why vanessas' last words while crying were that she hates them all because even in their last moments the symphogear users still didnt let them be monsters before thanking them and then finally dying
they're effectively a type of tragic villains but ones also trapped in villainy, it isnt until all 3 is incapacitated in the lastest ep that we even really learned anything about them outside of being ostracized as monsters or trying to become human again and till then their actions is almost always directed by a bigger villain, sure they arent redeemable and especially not millaarc but their final moments if anything shreds some new light on them, they arent the monsters others believed them to be nor were they the monsters they themselves believe to be either, they were villains but were they truly monsters?
@@YukiFubuki. Oh, I perfectly understood their characters and motives but when compared to the villains of previous seasons I just find them pathetic. Their story and character development would have worked best as midboss characters who's arc should have finished far earlier say around episode 7 or 8 thus giving more time to develop Fudo and more importantly Shem-ha/Miku. I don't have some vehement hatred of them but they really took up far more screen time than necessary which is my main problem. I have enjoyed Shem-ha's gloating and smugness far more than anything noble red did so more of that would have been great, having her actual interact with the main cast especially Hibiki was something that was sorely needed. But the biggest problem was the complete elimination of Miku's screentime, I would have been fine with scene every episode or so that showed her slowly being taken over by Shem-ha but a single scene over the course of 4 episodes is awful.
@@Allknowing18 well they sorta are something like midbosses anyway, they pretty much bounced from being fudo's lackeys to shem-ha's and its clear from the start that they were never meant to be the main villains with how weak they were and all that
