Mits totally loved this. I see I have a Mr and Mrs inside me. Left brain vs Right brain. Made me laugh seeing how my default is to be more like your husband in get it done, practical whereas I am more attracted to your notebook with colour and creativity. It's a struggle but feels better to balance my pragmatic side with more of the colourful flow. Love your videos Mits xxx
It was so cool to see how different your view was from your husband's in the way you both documented the same events. It was also nice to see you doing your pages. Thanks so much for sharing. :)
Loved seeing your husband's traveller's notebook! He has a very neat handwriting and takes advantage of the whole page, which I truly admire! Yours was lovely as always, the leaf was a cute addition! You really inspire me to start watercolouring in my own journals :)
This was such a unique and fun idea Mits! I've been wanting to get more into journaling but am finding it hard to find my style..it's so cool to see two totally different styles!
This was such a fun idea! I really enjoyed seeing the differences between you & your husband. That is a really cool idea with the packing tape sticker!
Thanks for posting a "Mr" version of a Midori. I sometimes feel like I am the only man who uses one. Seems like every Midori video on UA-cam is made by a woman. (Nothing wrong with that, but where are the guy's versions?) I call mine my "Man-dori".
Your not a lone journaler I use moleskins mostly but write journals not the bullet type fancy to-do lists but thoughts, ideas, feelings kinda thing. We should start a group do our own videos!
nice! next time for your image transfer, take your taped image and drop it in a bowl of water and let it sit for about ten minutes then rub the paper off the tape while under the water. you'll get the best results that way. tfs!
Mits, Thank you fr doing this video! It's just so much fun to see the difference between Mr. and Mrs! lately I am trying to find a planning system for both my filofax and Midori, and I found that with journaling, I am doing what you did in the video, like drawing and writing and decorating. but in filofax, it's more time to time schedule. it's interesting that to see how people use different system in daily basis ;))
I need to move on past my cheapness and start using the paper inserts in my passport Midori. I bought it to use as a wallet and a daily to-do list manager/reminder, but so far I only use a separate notepad I keep in the craft file insert instead of the blank and lined paper inserts I bought. I don't want to waste paper because those inserts are expensive, plus I think I'd probably run out of space the moment I need it the most. Nice of you to share your experiences and styles, keep up the good work :)
+DJ Shuffle I tend to hoard the notebooks as well, but recently I started using my fountain pen in the midori weekly inserts and it's a dream for me....I absolutely love it! I think it's great that you're using up your notepad paper, but I think it's ok to use your midori inserts and get the whole experience too :) Perhaps you can use the notepaper just for small notes like to-dos or small lists, and then use the midori inserts for journalling and longer writing sessions :)
Photocopies work fine with this transfer method. It works better if you just soak the tape in water for a while. I left it overnight, and when I took it out, the paper just slid off.
+kale veen hello, I use various pens and don't have one designated for it. I guess the one I reach for often are: uniball signo and uni style fit multipen :)

That is so neat to see how different the journaling was about the same day. You son is so cute. Loved how you put the little leaf in. :)

I love the differences in this his and hers, what a great idea.
Thank you for a different viewpoint - as one who journals but in writing only - not what some term "junk journal" it is nice to see another viewpoint
This was such a fun idea! I really enjoyed seeing the differences between you & your husband. That is a really cool idea with the packing tape sticker!
Interesting, cool comparison! So neat to see the differences in journaling styles about the same event. Cool that you're both into notebooks.

What a super cool idea for a video: Loved it! Thanks to you and your hubby for sharing! :-)
That's so cool that your husband journals too! I'm a little jealous, lol. Really cool technique with the tape, I've never seen anything like it before
This is a wonderful comparison video. Thank you for sharing 👏🏾
My first Midori will arrive in a couple of hours, and I can see myself becoming more of a Mr. Midori. TFS!
Great video Mits. Really enjoyed it

Man-dori! Love that :)
You should watch Job’s Journal. His channel is really inspiring too.
I'm the opposite way -- I've come across a lot of men on YT who use TNs. I usually see them when I search Traveler's Notebook reviews

Muji sells passport notebooks that should fit if they're available where you are. They're a bit cheaper, but have less pages
Wow superb, your Husband's Japanese is very good!
this was awesome!! Thank you for sharing!! xox
