the guys working on the Flash should've honestly just looked at A-Train from the Boys.. their perception and visualization of speed is very well done imo. You can clearly see that A-Train is actually moving his body parts at high speeds instead of gliding across the floor. But you managed to capture that same logic quite well!
I love it way more than the original for sure! This is insane! I definitely feel like the running animation is holding it back though, it feels kind of stiff and upright
While I agree that The Flash running form in this scene could look more convincing, I've seen people use that Mixamo animation before and it just never worked for the character, it simply has no superheroic vibe to it, and when sped up like it is in your version, it kinda gives off goofy Sheldon Cooper as The Flash vibe, like yeah, it's normal human run animation, but it's too plain-looking. Maybe more motion blur for the legs and arms would make it closer to CW The Flash early seasons running look, also whole body leaning more forward as it usually does in the comics (recommend looking up Crimsoned Renz, he accurately recreated CW's running style for his 3D animations). But I also get your time constraints with this one, all the compositing work looks flawless
I think it looks pretty damn impactful , reminds me of that captain and Bucky running In Avengers infinity war wakanda original. In 1 week of time it's insane , I would love to see you tweak this further . Love your videos man ! Thanks again for that rigging animation tutorial legend o7
Finally this scene make more sense👌🔥 Thank you for doing that. Your tutorial videos are very helpful. I wish you could do one day a full tutorial, how to make a glow effect of Goku transformation to supersayan. 🔥
It looks like it is actually running! The original looked more like he was sliding or skating on the pavement. I don't realyl knwo what they were thinking when they made this movie.
your video is very illustrative even though it is short. btw, can you make a video tutorial on how to create a fake shadow effect from a greenscreen video in fusion? i haven't found the right way for some reason, including what are the names of the nodes i need. thanks in advanced
Not trying to disrespect, but the running still looks a bit weird. The aesthetic to go for in this scene is hard to visualize 'coz we're just not used to seeing people run that fast in real life. I'd prolly go for same overall shape/angle that the movie used where he is leaning forward 'coz that's how the flash looks like in the comics anyway. Combine that with how you did the legs. But minimize the bobbing/flickering of the upper body. That was what looked the most weird to me. That said, how you adjusted the look of the model and composited it with the movie scene is nothing short of spectacular. I followed a lot of your Davinci tutorials. I don't know how to use Blender but if you start making tutorials, I'd love to learn from you.
I prefer the original movie version. He seems to be reaching through the air pushing the speed force forward. Yours just looks like a weird speed-up cartoon.
That's fair, if I had more time I might have tried to make it look a bit more natural, but with the time I had this was the best animation I could find
Kinda swapping goofy running for a different kind of goofy? Seems to be the film should have motion captured a professional sprinter and just used that - have the background move faster but the actor’s body moving in a realistic way.
It's crazy to watch this when I made a Flash video a couple months ago and literally went through almost all the same steps. I used the same model and everything. ua-cam.com/video/_Loux1Dz4-A/v-deo.html
2:00 - 2:13 is comedy gold!
Your version is a LOT better than the original! 🔥👏🏻
Good work. I wonder how it will look with more time.
Good luck with your school assessments. 🙌🏾🇿🇦
So freaking cool!!

damnnn that was so neat 🙌🙌
The running animation looks kinnda goofy ngl but other than that this actually looks so great considering the low res footages and renders
Looks so much better
Very nice video!
Dude, this needs WAYYYYYY more views like damn 😭
Awsome. This is how flash should be running like..
Honestly much better than the original
This guy is hella underated

🤩🤩
The running animation looks good but looks too like rigid and it's kinda like inbetwwen the best and the real one.

Bro, move on. Stop with appologizing for using AI. People with VFx careers have been using AI for years. Apologizing for using a tool is cringe.
