The versatility and dynamism of this "individual" (wear that title w/ pride in the civilian world) makes Romero the best guest (in my opinion) you've had, Mike. Not to make it a contest, but the fact that a former SEAL, current NASA employee, can eloquently nail every question on the head while concisely explaining time dilation and the Fermi Paradox is a testament to his robust character . I very rarely comment, but I wanted to let you know people like this guy, Jay Dobyns, Andy Stumpf, Clint Emerson, Nick Irving, Bryan Black - constantly, consistently, relentlessly push the envelope - including with this podcast. Keep up the great work, just wanted to give some constructive feedback as somebody who's listened since 001. Dovetailing off the notion of constructive ideas, do a Mike Drop with David Goggins, Jocko Willink, and Marcus Lutrell unless you're sticking with "relevancy not being relevant" - which is respectable. Lastly, PLAY MORE GUITAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I'm sure Clark has gotten better lol).

On a separate note, I love how these military guys don't fall into traditional full on political stereotypes of "liberal" or "conservative," they're Americans, the Constitution especially the Bill of Rights, and any way people diverge should be dealt with respectfully and you don't have to fit in the same category as everyone else.

It's funny and a tad bit ironic that Mr. Romero brought up the point (in the main interview/podcast) about Philosophy needing to die, but seems to be a deeply philosophical man. Fantastic two-parter.

There is a difference between being phisophical and the actual modern day research field of philosophy staying "booming" and well funded.

Nothing the guest said can be proven scientifically. Atleast that is what "top physicists" say. So we are stuck with Hollywood references. IMO. Respectfully.
