Thanks for sharing, Pete. Also, I love that you smoke the company pipes when you make these videos, it helps people to see the quality pipes that they are.
Pete, stay sentimental. A great pipe with tobacco in the big hole opens the door to places I do not frequent otherwise. I remember when you first came to the Nashville Pipe Club and told me the story of your migration to Music City. From 'geetar player' to BriarWorks infamy 😁, I've had the privilege of watching your journey and celebrating the progress. Great memories abound, thanks to these little pieces of wood and plant leaves, eh? Looking forward to the coming milestone and intend to be there for the landmark event. Skoal!
I have a small rack with 7 of my dad's pipes that I'm pretty sentimental about. One is the pipe he taught me how to smoke for the first time with some PS Bulls Eye Flake. Also love sharing tobacco with friends. Good check-in Pete, enjoy these.
There are a few blends and pipes that make me think of certain people but nothing on the level of becoming a dad. Happy Bday to your daughter. I hope it was a good one
Im more sentimental with pipes than I am tobacco, some of my pipes have traveled alot of miles in my life with me. I hope when Im gone that someone else will enjoy them as much as I have and start a new journey in their own life with them
Cool story! I often think about the young man that was smoking a pipe one night when my girlfriend and I were out. It smelled fantastic so I hade to ask him what it was . The young man was more than willing to tell me about his tobacco and his pipe. I went out that very next day and bought my first briar pipe and some tobacco. I still that aromatic blend from time to time in the morning.
Excellent video and insights! Thanks Pete!
There are definitely a few blends that always remind me of friendships.
