In this video I will be going over the three different ways you can link your petnet smartfeeder 2.0 to google home to be a part of your smart home.
I will then go over the current abilities of the automatic feeder when used with Google Home as well as it's short comings.
While the features are currently limited when using Google Home with this smart pet feeder, I think with a little bit of work it can be fully polished to be a great experience.

Do you know if there is a way to connect a Petnet feeder to an app such as Smart Life?
To my knowledge it is not possible. I was in a facebook group a while ago about people trying to modify them but I can't find the group anymore.

I got this product and I just wished I saved my money for something else I don't have much and to be treated like this during this current time just makes me so mad.
My man, I can't even link the Petnet to my WIFI and phone App it doesn't work. please can anyone help I have tried so many times so many ways? I have called the company and emailed yet still no response.
I've seen some people mention that support has not been responsive for a while. I haven't contacted them in almost a year so I can't speak to if thats the case or not. I have gotten a few emails when outages happen and are fixed but thats' from them. I plan to send an email to see if I get a response or not at least. Based on other's commenting on how support is not responsive I would suggest returning the feeder if you can.
The feeder needs to connect to a 2.4GHz wireless network. Are you trying to connect to a 2.4GHz, 5.0GHz, or a combined wireless network?
The Bearded Tech Guy I am connecting it to 2.4GHz and been trading for many days nothing happens. I have watched so many videos believe me I want it to work just spent my money
Did you get an auto response from them when you sent an email? I did when I just opened a support ticket just now.

I also still suggest returning it if you can based on the number of other people saying their support is no longer existent.
I would not recommend this product anymore. One day last week my feeder stop working (motor is fine and I can manual feed but the app doesn't work anymore). Looks like this company is out of business or something. Read twitter messages (people stop getting responses from them from October 2019). Last tweet they did was January 11. My app says connected but it keeps missing schedule meals and I can't manual feed from the app anymore (I have a feeling their servers do not talk to the unit anymore even when the ring is white). AVOID AT ALL COST. This was an expensive mistake for me. I guess I'll look for a replacement product that doesn't rely on a remote server where if no remote server then this product is useless. I wish I know how to hack this.
Yea I've seen some reports about it. Mine still works and I reached out to them on Twitter (with no response). I'm going to send an email and give them a couple days to respond. If not then I'll be updating my videos. Thanks for the heads up
To be honest I don't know why you are still making videos about this company Petnet as they are not helpful and the product doesn't work for 8 out of 10 people. stop promoting them when they are not helpful.
This video is over a year old, at the time when I had interacted with support they were very helpful with my issues on several different occasions.
