One wheels are sick ngl, subbed
Subscribed to them!
Done!
Subscribed to the onewheel channel!
I would enjoy coming up there and helping out for a weekend or so! Such a fun project!
I was about to say they need to have you up!
*_FUCK YES GIVE US THAT ROB DAHM COLLAB_*
Mr rob !!!! DO IT!!!!
Please do it 🙏
Let rob bring up a turbo 3 rotor for it.... then send it to the moon..
I would relocate the oil coolers to each side of the seat back to catch more clean cooler air and raise the exhaust about 2-3" . If you keep the coolers where the one is located you'll be heat soaking it off the muffler
We will do a heat shield for sure!
@@GrindHardShorts I'm glad you recognize that it could cause problems. This thing is a Mad Max looking ride. Its so awesome looking.
I'd also add a pipe to the muffler, bring it out further in the back, cut down some of the immediate noise.
@@monkeybarmonkeyman and fumes at idle. i wouldve put muffler further back to mitigate heat, fumes, and noise noticed by rider
@@GrindHardShorts i was thinking since it is a trike and its still stupid loud you could add a larger motorcycle aftermarket muffler as a tip for the one you threw on there ... the tone of the exhaust would be ...original
It's looking good. A couple heat shields on the exhaust to keep the mastery cylinder and oil cooler cool and maybe some tuning would both be good ideas.
Would be hilarious to see that beast rolling down the highway, i'm loving this thing and it also kinda sounds like an actual bike at idle.
The one thing i would probably do is wrap that exhaust to contain the heat just in case
Brake master/fluid might get a little toasty there!
My thoughts exactly
And the oil cooler
😗👌
A little shield is in order.
@@dylanzrim3635 What you don't always mount your oil cooler right over the exhaust with no shield?
Need to get it tuned professionally. Definitely needs it. Coming along awsome though
Seeing the bluing on that pipe so quick makes me think that is a lean stumble.
Part throttle sounds very lean. Or misfire. Or both. But full beans sounds pretty dang rowdy.
Call rob dahm
best use of a rotary ive seen in a long while!!! kudos
That thing is fantastic! You guys always hit your videos, music, & builds out of the park!
Thank you for letting us share the voyage!
I really want to see this with paddles shredding sand!!!
Thatd be sweet
Hell yes
We really do to!!
Yess mad max vibes
@@GrindHardPlumbingCo Do it!
@2:02 you disliked your own video????
Crazy fools 🤣
Loving your builds guys, keep up the good work. 👍🏽
I thought I was the only one to notice
Subscribed to one wheel. Love this build! It’s so ridiculous and awesome. Keep up the outstanding builds guys, you’re killing it.
Love because how unconventional it is, what a joy to watch you do such crazy/cool projects :D
This is one of my favorite builds!
You guys might want to put a heat shield on the brake reservoir next to the exhaust. I'd hate to see the brake fluid get too hot and keep you from having sweet sweet stopping power.
Out of all your projects I think this is my favorite! Love the sound of a rotary! Didn't know one wheel had a channel. I just subscribed!
I like how you think those rims on a golf cart is crazy when the things you guys build really are, Subbed to onewheel as well
It is so weird to see someone "pushing" the accelerator pump with a twist grip. This build is turning out to be incredible. (I was going to say Awesome).
Would love to see a two stroke power wheels on the channel, keep up the good work!
YES! Never even tought of this. A 125 two stroke rear wheel drive power wheels needs to happen!
The 2 strokes are hard to build in a power wheels because of the expansion chamber but I'm sure we will see one eventually on GHP!!!
The first one ever, the barbie mustang was a 2 stroke 80, good times. It would be cool to see a newer one made though
Edit: I guess I'm incorrect. I looked back and it was a crf 230... I could have sworn there was an 80 in there somewhere, owell
@@Ameritude no I think it was a four stroke
@@Ameritude wasn’t it a crf 230?
Really excited to see the trike finished, looks amazing so far :-) Also subscribed
Hey men, i see your channel for a month's ago, i Say Hi from Sahuayo México your job and creations are amazing... That trike Rotary are from another world 🤘🏻😀
Wish i lived closer to you guys, I'd tune that thing for you. It's definitely making a lot less power than it should be. Sounds timing/ignition related.
cant tune a bad design
@@penguiin12 i don't know what you mean by bad design, but that engine is 100% tunable. I've tuned multiple rotary engines.
@@jmotorsports7509 its just not as good as a cylinder in a barrel, by a long shot. was mainly sayin you cant tune the bad design out of it
@@penguiin12 I respectfully disagree. A properly tuned rotary makes more power per cubic centimeter/inch than a piston engine, and makes power all the way to redline. Plus, there's no sound like a rotary lol.
@@jmotorsports7509 i disrespectfully disagree, theres a reason every single supercar out there uses either electric+pistons or only pistons. obviously bugatti, fischer, mclaren all should have asked you first because a "rotary is better"... you have a bias because you think it sounds cool, but in actuality 99.999% of all engines on the planet are piston from lawnmowers to the fastest cars ever made
Kei is "k-ay" not key. :)
They are a blast. Get one with a turbo though because the N/A ones are SLOW!
But this weighs way less than an RX7, so the power to weight ratio of this is much better, I think it’s better than a turbo RX7
@@tomaspiscicelli3288 I was talking about a turbo kei car.
I’m so dumb
@@tomaspiscicelli3288 Damn right you are
I want to see an off road cappuccino build now
Subscribed to one wheel channel ... you guys make the greatest insane builds I have ever seen... always look forward to seeing new videos from you guys.. keep up the great builds...
12:15 wtf why does it sound supercharged??! I love it! Keep up the good work
Grind Hard need to build a sweet golf cart with long travel suspension to actually use golf cart tires as intended
Looks amazing already but imagine like a Fairing kit I guess you would call it of just street signs 🙌. I did subscribe
Yes!
great video you build most most excellent rydes, one wheels are fun as hell, i subbed to them!!!!
I subscribed! Keep up the awsome work! Your guy's work keeps me motivated to work on my own projects 🚘
with the exhaust so open, id say up the jet size......might fix that popping and miss
I was going to say it sounds off, and it doesn't want to idle, or is that just how rotary's run?
@@dave1135 It doesn't have that distinct rotary idle with the pauses.
@@MiGujack3 you only get that with peripheral port, with the standard ports it'll idle smooth
Yeah its running absolutely horrible should be running super smooth an way more happy to rev up
Everything is coming together nicely, keep up the good work! I've ridden a One Wheel before, they are sooo much fun. I subscribed to One Wheel and I hope to win one!
Awesome content. I’m glad I found you guys
Subscribed to one wheel! Love all your stuff. Masters of fun, keep it up!
I just subbed to one wheel and look forward to watching their content! I'm a senior in the automotive technology program at my college and I've wanted a one wheel since I first saw one a few years back. It would be so amazing to ride a one wheel from class to class around my campus! Good luck to everyone entering!!
Subbed to Onewheel, haven't watched a trike ep in a while but DAMN that thing came together well
I subbed to Onewheel’s channel. I’d love to rip on my local trails on one of those! I love the builds you guys do, I keep looking at my son’s power wheels Jeep and daydream of its potential 😂.
Awesome build guys, love your channel!
I've been subscribed to one wheel ever since Wren from corridor was in the downhill race and I still love there stuff
I'd love to see those tyres on my dream car; the ForTwo
The drift trike is coming along and it's so sick! Can't wait to see a full video of you guys ripping on this thing! Subbed to one wheels channel too for the fun of it lol
Just subscribed to onewheel!!! My cousin has had one for years now, love riding it when I go to his house.
As much as it is what it is & it's cool af like that, i'd love to see it with a fc rear end & some retro superbike fairing up front.
"It's running better today for sure!" proceeds to have some of the worst cut out you can imagine. If I had to guess it's fuel. And if not fuel then spark. I doubt it's struggling for air. I'd still bet both our lunch money on carb jets.
Yeah, that thing is running like shit, I feel like it's lean and timing isn't right.
@@racerex340 Totally agree, I mentioned it a few video's back.
I owned and raced a RX2 Coupe for 18 years, listening to this makes me cringe.
@@garthpaul6216 yeah, you can't hack your way through a rotary, especially when not fuel injected. Besides getting timing and fuel right, they're also super sensitive to intake runner length and exhaust tuning, more like a 2 stroke. Given that it looks like someone ported the irons, it's going to take that much more fiddling to get it running right. They should move to fuel injection regardless, that carb is going taunt them, no amount of jetting is ever going to come close to what they'd get with even a shitty failsafe map going EFI.
I was about to say the same thing lol
Blows my mind that he think it sounds good lol. My rx3 was stock as a rock out of a barn after 30 years an ran better than that
Just found this channel and I love it.! I will be watching all your previous videos. Also I subscribed to onewheel 😀😀😀
The ingenuity you guys have is next level keep it up, I also subscribed to one wheel 🇺🇸
Only thing I would try to do different is separating the oil cooler and exhaust more.
I was thinking the same as well with all that heat
Maybe building a collector on the header before the muffler, then running a single pipe back to a different muffler might give it some more power. I can't imagine there is much scavenging with the way it is now.
They may be unaware of the concept, now that I think about it. Is scavenging a thing on a wankel? Isn't each compartment isolated? So the exhaust drawing out wouldn't pull a vacuum through the cylinder.
@@Gcrilla Yes, they do have overlap between the exhaust and intake strokes in each chamber. Quite a bit actually, which contributed to their poor economy, and inability to meet current emissions standards. If the engine has any porting work done to it, the overlap becomes worse, just like putting a large cam in a normal 4-stroke engine. Proper exhaust scavenging will yield a big benefit on a Wankel.
@@davelowets that's awesome! I know very little about wankels honestly. If the overlap is like you say it, then a proper exhaust system would be hugely beneficial, also like you said.
@@Gcrilla Maybe they are unaware of it. I would like to see them rebuild the header, and see the power difference. I'm not a guru of Wankels, but I've built some nasty V-8's. I think with a better header design, it would definitely make a "seat of the pants" difference in power. With a typical built V-8, an open header collector with about 18" of pipe attached to it seems to be the sweet spot for the best average power production. There is an old trick of putting a longer pipe on the collector, then painting a white line on it, and then make a good pull with the engine. Where the white line quits burning off, you cut the pipe off there for best performance. That's where the "Slug" of hot exhaust starts to cool and the scavenging effect stops being effective, so any extra pipe after that would be a hindrance to scavenging. I've never done it on a Wankel, but I would expect it to work the same.
@@Gcrilla 🍻
Subscribed to Onewheel! And I love you guys went for the rotary, it sounds amazing
I have subscribed! The grip on the trike is insane!
I’m so worried you’ll end up “sending” something into one of those trees. Please don’t die! Your content is too awesome!
I feel the forward steering cables should be on the outside of the forks for a better pivot point... seems logical idk
Maybe a little beefier too?
Yes
Seems like a good way to get caught on brush if this thing ever rips up a trail, tho I guess the rear wheels already do
I thought the same thing. The outside of the forks seem like they could be beneficial to the steering.
Whoo!.. Some friends and I were just talking about the Onewheel we saw yesterday. Looks like an interesting ride, for sure...I suscribed & hit the notification bell here and at Onewheel...because Onewheels are awesome!!!
That thing looks amazing, and sounds like a beast, I did subscribe 👍

Have you considered if the exhaust heat will be intense enough to heat the brake fluid too much? So far it looks awesome!
Yeah thinking the same, even a small heat shield would be good 👍
Subscribed to the one wheel. Thanks for all you guys do and the creativity.
Great progress on the trike! Subscribed to onewheel!
Aren't those "oil lines" rated for way less than the oil pressure in the system at higher RPM?
They'll find out soon enough if it's the case lol
Would love to see a sprinkler system install
This is the best build on the internet by far. I’m definitely subscribing to one wheel, because who doesn’t want one of those.
I subbed to one wheel's channel gonna definitely be following their channel. Love this channel as well, been following since the barbie jeep.
You need Rob Dahm to tune this
Why so it blows up
@@BIGSMOKE-bl2lq he has never blown an engine?
I don't think he knows much about tuning carbs. :D
Nah, Vargas bros
Vargas definitely
5x112 are so cheap though, and nobody runs them. Way easier to find unusual styles than 4x100.
5x112? Every Vw, skoda, seat and audi ever, with the exeption of their small cars🤔 thats why its so many sets out there
4x100 market is way, way bigger for that size. Small VWs that suited 15" wheels, like older Jettas/Golfs, were 5x100 (late 90s) or 4x100 (80s, early 90s). 4x114.3 also has far more 15" options, given the number of Japanese cars that used this bolt pattern in the 80s and 90s
Yeah 4x100 is pretty easy most 4 stud multi fits are 4x100 and 4x114.3 so plenty of options if you want hard try finding wheels for the old mazda's 4x110
I subbed to onewheel! can't wait to see what you guys build next! its always a great part of my day when I get to watch grind hard!

What an awesome build! I have Cerebral palsy and have never been able to ride a bike so this would be the perfect taco trike for me!
Awesome build man, you should wrap the exhaust. It adds to the performance of the engine & you can get it an array of colors. Good luck I enjoyed your video.
