The continued Toronto blue jay slander is wild I wish the tigers tried to spend money like that the blue jays would win the AL central almost every year that’s a really talented roster I just don’t get how there approach is not more applauded tigers fans would appreciate if we were in on all these guys Toronto is world class city it’s not Siberia guys lol

I don't think most Detroit fans think Toronto is bad city. I think the point is that it's adds significant roadblocks that any US city doesn't. The tax implications are a notable factor that can't be ignored. Many baseball players also move there families to the city they play half their games. I think most players will find it an easier transition to stay in the US.

@@user-bj2ug1cy9m California tax penalties are very similar Toronto has also gotten way more prime free agents then we have here in Detroit my whole point was I wish our tigers were trying to compete and spend like Toronto does every year in the tough AL East
