📖 This lua script turns smb3 into a new game very similar to Kirby's Canvas Curse. You have to use your mouse to draw rainbow lines which Mario can travel on to complete levels.
🎮 Controls
Left-click on mario - jump
Middle-click anywhere - run
Draw vertical lines to make mario change his walking direction
Draw horizontal lines to help mario move over obstacles
👾 You'll need FCEUX emulator. The SMB3 lua script is in the download with the emulator.

That would have sucked if the rainbow destroyed the wand.. such a tricky looking concept in Mario 3. You seemed to start figuring out some cool little tricks, nice job, I didn't know that the whistle and spiky smooshing room were connected, makes sense though with the block scheme, just never really connected the dots in my head until you walked over to it. Nice playing, take care.

I saw a video where someone said rainbow curse was better than campus curse but I think canvas curse uses the Kirby elements a lot better they could have put any character into rainbow curse and it would have felt the same.

Not quite what I was expecting when you were teasing it on stream yesterday. Looks like it would be really frustrating, and take a long time to make progress. That said, I'm sure others will want to see more, but this type of mod isn't my cup of tea exactly. Other SMB3 ROM hacks though... 👍

This mod reminds me of Okami in a way, it would’ve been cool if it was possible to draw cherry bomb and slash through enemies with the rainbow paintbrush, just like in Okami
