Coach I personally believe all our favourite fighters of present and past wanted and cherished the love of boxing fans in general. To me only the best prize fighters that entertain in and outside the ring thrive from the fans worldwide who cheer them on and admire their passion they show in a fight. The legends such as Mike Tyson and Ali were both fighters of the people more so than media darlings. On the other hand media darlings such as Floyd have always been the least entertaining in the ring and only their personality or character attracts the attention. I think Ali and Tyson even being totally opposite in terms of fight style still knew what the fans appreciated and both were the best at doing that in their era. Nobody ever come near the worldwide hype for a Mike Tyson fight in my opinion coach. I'm from England and I can tell you for a fact he sold 100X more for any fight he had on ppv than Floyd did against Manny here. I truly believe the numbers we see recorded are fake because not a chance in hell Mayweather sold more ppvs for any fight than Mike was doing in the USA. I can guarantee he was selling more ppvs in the UK than AJ was at peek time here. I remember the hype everywhere when I was a kid for Tysons fights. Every house on my street had family and friends houses full up until 6 in the morning to watch him knockout a guy in 1 round and tbh the memories of those times stick out so much of how the world is today no families and friends socialise the same in the UK like before I hardly no anybody in my street today. Back in the late 90's and early 2000's the social clubs in every local estate would be packed on a weekend with all the kids playing in the gardens while the parents got drunk and sing on the karaoke. Everyome would be talking about the fights upcoming and that good stuff. Today the world turns different and that results in less love and hype for boxing. Social media is mainly just trolls an hate so the social construct that used to hype sports like boxing no longer exists. Is it the same in America or is it just Britain's culture dead lol

@greeneyesp2039 I can imagine Liverpool was similar to my hometown in Birmingham on fight night. I'm from where the peaky blinders story come from. Fighting is in our blood just like it is the people of Liverpool. Why I also love going out in Liverpool when I get the chance the people are great and down to earth.
