Joking aside, even if someone was to know all these techniques or most of them, videos like this are still massively important to keep the motivation going.
After just a few minutes of watching this it's making me want to go do the visuals for an upcoming release and start thinking about all the other processes.
My favourite past-time is definitely procrastinator, it's such an easy hole to fall into

That's great to hear, how did you get on with your visuals? You deffo need time to think and be creative that's for sure, but also schedule your time so that all the admin stuff is done around it

Good tips! Community is key! Having a nice balance between your online presence and showing up in real life helps. Some other ideas could be video editing, promotion, or working for a sound and lighting company. I knew a guy that worked for a sound and set design crew and got the low down on all the upcoming festivals a year in advance, when they did bids and estimates for these parties. It seemed like the venue wasn’t complete and were always looking for more talent and an additional line up…we ended up getting loads of gigs all summer long.

Great stuff Grahame. Also, if you aren’t a full time creative, don’t forget the number one DJ on the planet RN was an accountant until he made it. Admin Van Burin made a deal with his parents to be a lawyer until he made it. The list goes on. Point being, doing something you like that has nothing to do with music may be your best path. You learn a ton of skills doing this that prepare you for what you break out and everyone wants a piece, and financially you may actually have more time to do what you love, which is make music. Good luck all 🤙🏽😎🖤🐓
