Hambo introduction

For those of you inspired by a fun game of sorts, here it is, the Social Graces Dance Challenge of 2021. If you need a little encouragement to get introductions to new dances, this dance challenge is for you. (That’s why we are doing it!!!!) You can win prizes, trophies and praise. Get introductions to different dances from private lessons, group class lessons or our free intro lessons online, and see how many dances you can remember during our Dance Challenge, held during our Friday night dance on November 12th, from 7-9.
We will play at least one of every dance listed on our dance challenge list and more upon request. for every dance that you know at least a few aspects about, you get a point towards your total. By the end of the evening whoever has the most total points wins.
Students can dance as singles or couples for any given dance. Couples will dance using normal lead and follow. And singles can dance treating the patterns they know as a mini line dance.
You can also use your dance tracking card as a dance card for dances that you will need partners for. Get your tracking card today at the studio - Mark what you already know, and set some goals to add to your repertoire. Who knows when you’ll be in New Orleans and want to dance Zydeco, or be in the heart of Appalachia and want to dance Salty Dog Rag.
We have over 30 dances suggested on our website, many have video lessons with video lessons growing every week.

It looks beautiful! But a bit like patting your head and rubbing your tummy! I love the hambo rhythm, I play a couple on my DG melodeon, here in England.
