Please ensure that the DA continues to be a corruption-free party and that members are not tempted or enticed to take the wrong path. Never mind those who pick on your academic qualifications because your brilliance outshines every one of them. Root out corruption and create jobs so that our poor people don't have to rely on grants but work and live with dignity. I wish the GNU every success.
You are too ambitious. First the DA will not be able to implement any new policy without cabinet approval, which means they will be implementing ANC policies. They need the approval of cabinet to change policy and we all know that it will be not easy for the DA to get that approval.

As a white South African, I agree with you fully. The Agricultural sector has huge potential for job creation as well as the potential to become the bread-basket of Africa. In the spirit of Minister Steenhuizen's moving adress, we, as citizens can offer significant support to our country, simply by buying local produce as opposed to importing our food. I for one, offer my shoulders to supporting a better South Africa, for all of its Citizens.

The USA and the Austro-Hungarian empire are/were two very diverse countries, but they met different fates for different reasons. Diversity strengthens societies that have a greater unifying factor that brings the varied people groups together, and it kills societies that don’t have that. Whether South Africa falls into the former or latter category is something I’ll leave up to you to decide.

I agree but before that let’s fix the department of education/social services ; provide necessary resources and support to promote a conducive learning environment. Let’s tackle issues of food insecurity, family structure breakdown (provide social workers: psychologists ect. eg child headed homes/ teenage pregnancies/ kinds dropping out of school ect) / abuse (sexual/physical/neglect) and substance abuse faced by children in poorer communities (especially public schools).
