you are definitely the best teacher. Everything is explained so preciously and simply. Finally learning the darabuka becomes a possible reality. Keep up the posts . Thanks
Thanks brother! After years of playing Darbuka Like A Djembe or Drumset, here I finally get to know the real stuff! They're my first Darbuka videos and totally worth the yelow wall! Like your compositions and the ease you've put into the teachings! I get it all!
Karol - thanks so much for your lessons - I played darbuka some time back and want to start again - much of it came back to me watching your videos - Aloha from Honolulu, and thanks again!
Dear Mr Karol, thank you for the tutorials and I m trying out the rhythms one by one. I'm a slow learner and confuse my hand and fingers to catch up with the timing when you play fast. Appreciating you, this splendid instrument the Darbuka and all the players of this traditional instrument. Thank you
I am practicing with you and am with you up until your crazy ass solo... man why you kill my hopes and dreams?!?!!?!!! I need those letters to follow along man :)
Thank you so much for your lessons. They are wonderful. I was just a little surprised that you expected us to play the second part of your solo after three lessons. I certainly could not do that and I practiced ;-) At least something to look forward to.
Thank you so much for your fabulous work. Your videos have helped my brother and me to play together and enjoy learning your lessons. Please continue and if there is anything we can do to give back, let me know (maybe you´d like to get a free copy of my negotiation book). Gratefully yours, Amin
@Sarsoura48 Yes, I agree, the lesson is very good, but it's not too dificult, you need to practise it every day, with patience, then will be better ;) Believe me, it's similar like playing castanets for flamenco ;)
I love your videos. They are wesome. is it possible to have a transcription of the solo you do at the end ? When you write in the yellow screen DT tkTD T ....it is so helpful.
Thank you very much for your videos! I started playing a aluminum Darbuka and I was wondering if it is more complicated than the round one. I think is harder to make T and K sounds. Thank you again !
Thanks so much. I mastered the first 2 lessons before this. can't seem to get past this lesson . my fingers are short and don't put enough force in fingers. any tips?
the small finger from the left hand is very difficult .. i can use the 3 middle finger but not the small..its so frustrating... Maybe i cant find the correct position :(
You explain better than anyone else thank you cuz you really show the finger movement on top of a table that helps 🙏

4:40 amazing!!!
Thanks man!
Good thanks brother
great and awesome,,,!
question, when you roll your left hand fingers on the drum does the little finger make a sound??
perfect at the end , i cant do that for this time,
Well I think that he would like to say that we shouldn´t go further if we are not capable of doing something like solo from the end.
for the rolls does it matter if you do index finger to little finger as he does or little finger to index as seems more natural for my fingers?
At the the end should we combine all the compositions from the second lesson till now
Think you can post the notes for the solo so we can practice that? that would be awesome! thanks
Thanks so much. I mastered the first 2 lessons before this. can't seem to get past this lesson . my fingers are short and don't put enough force in fingers. any tips?
the small finger from the left hand is very difficult .. i can use the 3 middle finger but not the small..its so frustrating... Maybe i cant find the correct position :(
my fingers are tooo short and skinnyy :( hard for me to roll with them! :(
No 1
HI kAROL, CAN YOU USE THE INDEX FINGER WITH THE RIGHT HAND?? OR JUST THE OTHER( THE ONE NEXT TO THE PINKY ONE)?
So memorize the rhythm chart like sheet music?
grazie !
I was not able to play all that at the end!!! Can we have it written down pls pls
Is it the same if the roll starts with the index finger instead of the minus?
lol my hands died trying to keep up with the solo
hey, maybe you can press the pauze botton and writ it down?
thanks
Como meter este instrumento con la cumbia?
can u please write down the solo pattern?
I'm having trouble rolling, is it because I'm using a doumbek or do I just need to get the finger strength down?
how can I exercise my hand into the move to make good sound??? :(( my hand makes low sounds when I try to make the roll :(
Nice
