I don't think Tesla has fully delivered on master plan 1 yet. The 25k car isn't here. The price for EVs is lower now and certainly more affordable than in the beginning but without that 25k car the mission isn't fully done. Not that I'm complaining, I love how much has been accomplished :)

Thanks Herbert for the excellent content. Jeff, your input coming from your wide experiences, is very valuable in explaining clearly where Elon is going to take Tesla to. Which happen to be the core products we need most, as energy and AI Bots capable in time to create extravagant wealth for everyone, but also great resources needed to create a multi planetary society.

I think Jensen's comparison was about how it would feel to a society that it was very weird 100 years ago to see a machine with wheels on the street instead of a cart with a horse in front of it that it will to be weird at first to see humanoid robots walking around everywhere and then we will get used to it. The smartphone didn't have the same visceral visual impact.😊

What is the Masterplan 4?
Beginning around @13:00 Jeff stated a very insightful observation about real-world autonomous AI calculations being performed by Tesla FSD every day by millions of Tesla's. My technological gut feeling has me thinking this amount of distributed compute easily compares to any AI research group computing capabilities. Also Tesla continues to physically scale (add) to their computing efforts every day.
Deceiving Title! Not Cool!
SpaceX+Tesla are the only two companies who jointly could tackle space based solar power generation. I thought there was a chance that Tesla could send AI training to satellites too (there is no power shortage up there), but that seems like too long a shot.

Master plan III is not as crisp as the first 2.
Elon should build a mini nuclear power plant(s) to power his data centers.
Why waste money? Solar and batteries are so much cheaper. And so much faster to bring online.

People frequently claim small modular nuclear plants will be cheap. But that's an unsubstantiated claim. The leading company in the field, NuScale, was claiming that they could sell electricity for $0.10/kWh once they reached scale, but the market won't pay that much. The market won't even buy electricity from those paid off nuclear plants that need $0.05/kWh to survive.
The last I heard was that NuScale's backers were backing out. What sounded sort of good years ago now sounds ridiculous given the current price of renewable energy.
Now we have Bill Gates and some other people financing a new small reactor build that they claim will be affordable. Maybe. But as far as I can tell they haven't disclosed their magic. We'll have to wait and see.
Robots will take over menial jobs in grocery stores, cinema theaters, restaurants, etc. This is where my kids work during the summer (when not in college). Thanks for taking away their jobs.
Robots will also make products cheaper and it will lead to overconsumption. Just like cheap food makes people over eat and become obese. Trash will increase exponentially as things become cheap and discardable.
Not arguing against robots, their advent just needs to be carefully managed if at all possible.
