I might see the remains of a city or a building...or whatever. 🧐🤯but when we wanna zoom some of the details of the surface shapes, all was making blurred by the system... İt is not nice guys..👎
Just about all of this can be easily explained by the rovers' interaction with the planet as it uses different onboard instruments and proboscis to test and take samples.
@@bunch_o_racket That's the easist one to explain. That's a drill hole where the probe took samples. The powdered sand is carried up and out by the grooves in the drillbit and forms a cone of sand with the drill hole in the center making it look like an anthill. But it's not. It's just a drill hole.
Sigh. There is no "red filter." The skys of Mars are salmon pink to rusty brown, depending on the percentage of dust particles. Iron Oxides make everything somewhat reddish in hue. This is an alien planet; you might get used to that fact.

After investing a couple billion dollars, and hundreds of people investing years of their lives to get it there successfully, it is amazing that we have to figure out what Curiosity saw on Mars all on our own simply by looking at pictures... hahaha :)
I think once we actually have humans on the ground on Mars, we will be surprised to find life--and not just microorganisms, but maybe things like worms and insects. The reason we haven't seen them is because if they exist they almost certainly will be found in caves, lava tubes, etc. Then that will present a moral dilemma for those who want to terraform the planet, probably eventually making it fine for us but inhospitable for those indigenous life forms. Will we be guided by anything like Star Trek's Prime Directive?
Insects, like any other form of life, need a food chain and water in liquid form. But there is not a single plant or lichen or moss to be seen. Not even bacteria have been found. And no water on the surface or underneath. Are these insects and worms supposed to eat sand and stones? Please use your brain.
The white stuff is most likely precipitates of salts after the water dried up. The holes, and series of holes are drilled areas that Curiosity performed with its on board drill. It can also use a laser beam to test for chemical signatures. Amazing machine!
Nothing to woner so much. There are purely white color stones, rose color stones, yellow cover stones, etc. Those chisel type spot marks must be from the earlier Mars mission rovers that must have drilled there a hole to extract stone powerder or dust and those many spot marks around that drill hole are the marks of the machine that drilled the hole.
Thats A big planet, you think this rover is at the exact same spot a previous rover was? Why would they send a rover to explore a place they have already explored?
@@ramgarhia-k9h Mars is roughly the same size as earth. The logistics and cost to pinpoint and send a recovery/repair mission is highly unlikely. Nasa doesn't like to tread the same ground twice, especially with the hundreds of spots of interest. Simply the rover would be abandoned.
It doesn't occur to you that the holes were made by Curiosity shortly before and then photographed? There are even photos of the situation before and after the lasering. The rover always makes 10 holes. The laser is used for this. During the lasering, a special camera films the process and performs a spectral analysis. The data is then sent to Earth and evaluated by NASA.
Although there is a trail leading outwards from the holes. Wouldn't a gas form rise from the hole without leaving trails? Definitely something is moving from beneath the surface.
Actually those dots are made by Curiosity's laser. Always 10 holes. During lasering a special camera called ChemCam is doing a spectrum analysis. If I remember right the vaporizing gases are sucked in and get analysed by a gas-chromatograph too. That's probably where the circular imprint in the sand comes from.
I suddenly do not object to manned mission to mars. Edit: i would go, look at all those rocks. I am genuinely obsessed with mineral, rocks and crystals. So heck yeah, I would volunteer.

The vast expanse of barren , bone dry land with no obstructions other than tall mountains and deep craters is a place where winds much stronger than the strongest that we ever encounter here on earth can create very unexpected phenomena, which is what we see in these pictures. Wonderful though.
