The Germans didn't call their lighning war tactics Blitzkrieg that was a catchy phrase the West came up with. The Germans called it Bewegungskrieg.

Wrong, it had been used in German media a few times in the 30s. The allied "Western" (lol Germany isn't Western?) powers likely got it from there and assumed that the german military referred to it as that.

The primary mistake in my opinion was of course invading Poland. If he wanted to attack Russia directly he should of went through Finland who was no stranger to hostility with them already. Not to mention Finland being a democracy had the support of the west and would have possibly saw assistance coming their way. This would have eventually led to the defeat of the Soviets in my opinion.

The Sudetenland and Anschluss and the Spanish civil war was the start of ww2
It started in 1937, when Japan invaded Manchuria.
With the Treaty of Versailles the former Entente Cordiale and later Triple Entente wanted to deeply humiliate the Germans. Therefore Germany, not Austria, was made sole aggressor and the reparations were so high, that Germany was literally starving.
The "sports of the emperors" was a disaster for all nations and it even ended in the death of one string of the Royals, as the Romanoffs were related to German Kaiser house as well as to the British King.
And this lead to a huge ressentment in the German population, which helped a demagog like Hiter to rise to power, after "democracy V.1" (Weimar Republic) was wilingly failed. He promised a lot and in the first years (up to around 1936-37) did a lot for the Germans, like the Autobahn system and "Kraft durch Freude" cars and holidays to make use of it. Of course, these concrete pists were a big part of his war for "Lebensraum im Osten"... the rest is history.... as Hitler's personal revanchism to let the French delegation sign the capitulation in the same railroad wagon used in Versailles.
